Ok Ive looked around and found an Nhancer profile someone made that doubles framrates with SLI. So I took the hex numbers and added them into the Nvapps (instead of installing Nhancer) and it works like a charm. Used to get around 38 FPS on the main menu. Now im getting over 70 fps. Both GPU's are around 80% load. I use Vsync so its locked at 60 in the screenshot.




And here it is... The bottom of your Nvapps.xml file should look like this example i have here, minus the red text. Copy what I have here in RED and paste it after the X-Blades profile like I show you here. 
Do this to both Nvapps.xml files. One is in C:\Program data\Nvidia\ and the other is in C:\Windows\System32\

came across your post, Im having issues with fps on SC conviction. Im running gtx 280sli and Im getting 20-30fps with or without sli it doesnt seem to make any difference.
 
So any way looking at your advice cant seem to find splinter cell conviction in my C:windows/system32/Nvapps/xml or C:programdata/nvidia/Nvidia

Ok. I decided to just upload the Nvapps.XML for you. This is the Nvapps.xml from the 197.45 drivers. The only addition is the Splinter Cell Conviction Profile which I added to the bottom. 

Copy this to C:\Program Data\Nvidia\   and   C:\Windows\System32\

WOW, i havent made it to the 2nd, and i will tonight! That does look awesome.

what are you guys thoughts on this one? I've seen some pretty harsh reviews for the PC version, I think GS gave it 6.5?

Yea. I installed it without the default SLI profile (Nvidia Recommended) and it still doesnt work. We still need a new Nvidia Driver to make SLI work. For now, use my fix or Nhancer.

Either use Precision or Afterburner. Go into the settings and click the Monitoring tab, then go through and select what you want to have on the top right. Each time you select something go down and check on the "display in OSD"

Worked for me and Ubisoft has a patch that fixes the Xbox gamepad problem

Ubisoft patch is not working for me (tri sli gtx 285) 
the nvidia drivers are not working for this game (I read the nvidia forums...)
I want try the solution of "XXChronicXX"
but I cant find " C:\Program Data\Nvidia\  " in my PC..........
and all SLI works for all my other games perfect......
I think I have to wait a new driver from nvidia ............
