Nice. Now send one to jonny guru for review. I'll be getting this PSU or the Corsair 1500i.

The only Item I can see that EVGA could add is splitting the Power Cable to two cables to split between to UPS Units.
Not for Failover but to put the CPU & MB on one and GPUs on the other. Now that would be a Classified PSU.

Definitely don't want it ^^ Prefer take 1700W Platinium from Lepa with 1800W peak. After 1500NEX is scary, my friends and customers agree with me.

Who make Lepa 1700? Enermax, that's muti rail than, or not?
No, no 1500/1600 single rail is better always special for more than two cards,
that's recommendation from highest level for heavy load and benchmark tests.
You can't judge like that because manufacturers are completely different level.
NEX1500 is made by Etasis and G2/P2 and I see now T2 is Super Flower.
Super Flower registered first Titanium PSU, not Flextronics.

Yes I can judge after bad experience, I don't want to try again and be disappointed and sad. Lepa and Enermax are great brand, for you information 1600W Lepa was choosen in 2013 for dream machine, where is evga?
Multi-rail on 1700W are great, 30A is plenty enough for high end modern card with much moresecurity than mono-rail. 1500Nex was a shame at multi-rail with only 20A , who is just barely more than ATX minimum recommendation, 18A.
1700W Lepa just destroy 1600 Evga T2. Even if it's just 100W more, but have highest peak. We need true test from Guru to see ;)

EDIT: compare size with 1700W Lepa (only 18cm) and 1600W Evga long as ship xD

From security side you are absolutely right but today most of PSU had very good chance to stop potential disaster.
To shut down everything or only PSU to die. And Enermax is great brand but from performance side today is not better not for mm from Super Flower performance. Only have most famous name on PSU market.
They had best at the beginning and many old guys who work with hardware used on their PSU long time ago when people didn't look so much on PSU as today. Today 4-5 manufacturer are really excellent and no one of them can be best more than year.
I will not to push you because you know best, no one can say bad thing about Enermax, only his complete domination is finished.

cerisettex, can you clear something up for me please? Even though it is 220v over there, and we have 230-240v here, I would think it should work no problem on our 240v circuit. But, if I remember correctly, over there in Europe, you run at 50hz, and we run at 60 on this side of the pond. Do you know if this would present an issue for the PSU? I know it effects the speed at which motors run, but no idea as to a PSU. Thanks!

Vlada just for you :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rC-ImSeYn2A Single rail? Multi-rail? XDDD See the answer, and don't pretend to know everything :p ! Antec models have 40A on multirail if you are searching Mega nuclear OC but it's another history. My lepa 1700W Maxplatinium have any issue, even if I push her at 1600W ;)

I post that before 3 months, about Antec explanation that even multirail is for them better and safer option.
I think one picture where they explain how that look on their PSU.
But today people more search for single rail and no reason to overclockers lie if they want more Single Rail units.
Seasonic all, Super Flower, Flextronics, made Single Rail, Enermax and Delta multi Rail.
Most of best units are single rail.
Antec explain multi rail is more secure.

Super Flower at this moment can make best power supplies than Enermax.
They produce at this moment 2000W Platinum and Gold Units with 166A on Single Rail.
Flextronics and they can make best custom computer power supplies.
Even if we compare them maybe Enermax is only little longer on market than they, maybe 2-3 years.
Enermax was first and who is first he stay most famous.

So what is the 80 PLUS certification?  You mention Titanium, but everything else I have seen say Gold?  Big difference as there is Platinum between there.

    There are three different models...

    G2 = Gold, P2 = Platinum, T2 = Titanium.

I'm hoping the 1600W T2 turns out to be a classified variant. I am really curious as to what evga is hiding for their classified PSU branding.

Not planned to be a Classified variant at the moment.

    Jacob,

When is the 1600 T2 going to be released? Next month? I too almost pulled the trigger on the Corsair AX1500i but saw your Twitter post and decided to wait.

Hopefully JonnyGuru will review the unit and put it through the paces.

The only question is, should I get two of these beasts or just one? hmm.. :D

    T2/P2 are scheduled for August/September.

    Gold will be sooner.
