it will never go fully away, it will be picked up by grassroots guys who will do it what they are doing to 95, 98, ME, and 2000, and that is hotfixing problems, releasing service packs, and even getting their hands on microsoft patches after official support ended lol

Sorry but you are wrong again.  Even patches for those willing to pay for it, just not individuals. But not dead.  Feel free to keep pumping w8 now, lol.

yea  no  see that is an issue if some companies wishes to  continue using XP chances are ther system are so far outdated  they are making ther  employees  work  and life at work a living nightmare it cost  them more to keep  machines older running longer then to just upgrade new systems.  it be far more cost effective to  have new system in-place  running latest version of windows  then to try and get Ms to  give them custom support

XP is near 14 years old DEal with it and move on   XP like windows  before it and after it was supposed to be a 3 year deal  then new windows but longhorn development prolonged it .  so ya knwo what  they can live in the past if they wish  they are just stubborn business just being lazy to upgrade and or well get new hardware i mean really what will they do when there    systems  die and they have no choice but to go to a new system or if 1 machine crashes so they order a new one and expect to install windows XP  on it only to find out it has no drivers for it   what they gonna call up MS and cry and moan

XP is DEAD   14  or near 14 years it  lasted longer then it was supposed to  and should have
