More descriptions for BIOS terms could be added. When I was building my friend's system, I couldn't figure out if "VDroop On" meant VDroop control was on, or the board was allowing Vdroop, and vice versa if "VDroop Off" meant control for it was off, or the board wasn't allowing Vdroop. I left it on On when I handed it over to her.

Ah okay. That would've been helpful a few weeks ago, haha. But like I said, a description like that in the BIOS would've been most helpful. Not a problem though since she's running stock.

I 2nd addressing the issues with the "K" chips.
Also (these are petty) pc health 2nd not first on the right, and frequency settings at top.
If possible only have to hit up arrow to get to the bottom of page if you are already at the top of the page. IE freq page have to scroll to bottom to save or load settings.

Ok, Heres my request, most BIOS/ mob have the power button so that you must hold it in for 3 or 4 seconds to power off. I have P55 FTW E657 and the slightest touch of the Power button turns the unit all the way off. The Reset on touching does a reset.   I understand they may have made the BIOS turn the M-board off immediately because of OverClockers.  However, it would be very nice if this was a BIOS choice, i.e. Power Button =  "Immediate off" or "Delayed off"

i'll third better k ship support, full turbo mode control, better divider support...2:12 that doesn't result in watchdog timeout errors.

also, something i love on the intel extreme boards (DP55KG) the power limitations in bios. you can set max wattage and amperage when you have turbo (K) boost on, i would love to see that on these evga boards.

I like the S2H personally. It's got my i3 running at 4ghz, and there's a lot of functionality on it despite its size.

Obviously, P55V BIOS should get updates to address some USB/Memory problems.

I'll have to agree with more BIOS descriptions / better descriptions.

Some of the things I look at and I really don't know what it's used for. So I leave it alone. Maybe it's something I'm looking for? I don't ever know haha.

USB's not being detected on the board when bios checking them, and it would be cool if they mute up the beeps on the boot up screen lol, these are the only issues that i have on my eVGA board, thanks EVGA.

i7-875k and i5-655k "bug". When can we get the CPU multiplier issue fixed? Is it a bug or can you please provide a detailed explanation of how this feature works? Why do SpeedStep and TurboMode settings get changed when the 22x CPU multi threshold is passed?

And any documentation would be good, SOME THING at least !!!!

A priority Bios update would entail a DETAILED description for all the bios choices.

Since the manual is so compact and uninspiring this is a priority request.

Nothing is worse then being in the bios screen and realizing that the only way to get info on an obscure Bios selection is to reload windows, search google for info, reboot, and then tweak in the bios, over and over again...

They say opposites attract. I hope you meet someone who is good-looking, intelligent, and cultured.

We did this before the A70 bios was released we had a HUGE list of things, then A70 released and guess how much of the requested fixes were in there?? NONE! very annoying to be quite honest and this one will probably not be implemented either, why?? because evga is more focused on a dual socket board that extreme overclockers will buy to promote the brand, and the new GTX4XX cards. but I'll say it again.

1: CPU clock skews-Very affective in ALL ASUS and GIGABYTE boards AND and in the EVGA X58 series

2: GTL REF points to tweak the cpu and memory GTLs-again implemented in gigabyte and asus boards

3: FIX the VTT setting on gigabyte and asus boards the same clocks can be had with a TON LESS VTT EVGA has lumped QPI VTT and CPU VTT into one category when they are 2 different things and if they were seperated every EVGA p55 owner could achieve lower voltages if they were seperate i.e. asus and gigabyte boards.

imo its rediculous I have even offered to be a beta tester for cryin out loud EVGA just isnt interested in imporving P55 like the other brands are because we dont pull in as much $$ as X58 and SR2 sad but true.

GL on those last two multipliers! I'm running about the same as you, 4 ghz with 1.3V. I found that it needs a lot more voltage for 21x, so I just keep it at 20.

It does! The i3 is part of my brother's rig. His Antec 300 pretty much swallows it up, and the Hyper 212 with dual fans towers over everything on the board. xD I've yet to set him up with a beastly graphics card though. He'll get my 260 once I upgrade to a 470. Don't you just love the temperatures that the i3 puts out? With my current overclock, it idles at 30, loads at 50. At stock, it's like idle 10, load 30. I had to make sure that the temperature sensors were working properly when I first saw those low low temps!
