Did you flash this mobo to that bios or did it come with it? I know the r22 bios on the p67 is horrendous and causes some of the memory errors your seeing and a couple other bugs too. If you feel comfortable with flashing your mobo bios I would try that first and go back to A06 since your using a 2600k and don't need the newer versions really. Unless one of the switchable bios on that board have it already then just switch to one of those. If not, you kinda need the pc to be stable to do it. :)  Have you tried shutting down the hyperthreading, keep your 4 cores enabled though, and manually set your cpu multiplier to 40 and 1.30 for voltage, save and reboot and see if that's any more stable. Then you can work on flashing the bios maybe.then sort the ram issue....hopefully.

MOBO: EVGA x299 Dark, CPU: I9 10900X, RAM: Patriot Viper RGB 3600 32gb, SSD: Samsung 860 EVO 1TB, M2: Samsung 970 EVO+ 1TB, PSU: CoolerMaster M2 1500, CPU HSF: EVGA 240 CLC HSF~ P/P EK Furious Vardar, G-CARD:EVGA RTX3090 FTW3 Ultra Gaming w/Hybrid kit and Noctua IPPC 3000 P/P, CASE: LIAN-LI PC-V2010B w/ Window mod, OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit, MON: Alienware AW3821DW

Sorry to hear that. If A06 is a actual bios revision you should be able to get it from evga via phone request.

i couldn't see...... what i did when i hit "Y"  to reflash MoBo. something poped for about a split second then then said computer will shut down in less than a min. and computer shuts down.... i tried to DL windows off link you had and wasn;t able to said either windows key wasinput wrong (which i know wasnt) or something like wrong windows version bla bla bla... i have 7 ultimate 64....... just my luck i do a fresh install and computer is worse somehow..going  to try several things to see if i can get Bios re-flashed then maybe try to repair/re-install windows yet again.

The BIOS is searching for a HDD and can't find one. If you installed Windows with your drive set to AHCI and reflashed the BIOS, the BIOS default is IDE. Change it back to AHCI and reinstall Windows if you installed it as IDE.
Before you decide to tear down your PC and RMA your motherboard you could try reseating the CPU. I had an ASRock Z77 motherboard that gave me similar issues and rather than tear it down and RMA I removed the waterblock from my CPU and released the tension spring and just wiggled my CPU in the socket. After that it fired right up and is still running good for my sister. It's a longshot but it might work.

what i did last night was, i decided to treat my main ssd as if was going bad... used 1 stick oif my old ram & loaded Windows on my "storage" HHD. re-flashed bios (r22) and was able to install w/ all updates w/o issue. well execpt one... windows saying my key isn't good anymore, may have to call microsoft about that.

tonight i plan on seeing how works w/ games...and probably new ram....

Choose to activate Windows using the telephone method. It is automated and asks you to input the numbers in your activation panel, then gives you numbers to  input into the panel. When asked how many computers this version of Windows is installed on answer,"One".

If the new ram doesn't work it's time to start rma'ing the cpu/mb. I'd rma the cpu first.

put in 2 sticks of new ram...and after i did my settings in Bios and saved/reset i promptly got 4 beeps and windows didn't start.... so i took out the 2 sticks and replaces w/ other 2 sticks same thing. i replaced w/ 2 sticks of old ram and it fired up. i'm thinking MoBo maybe issue since last i recall when i get beeps like that @ start up normaly is MoBo doesn't reconize ram.     sucks...but thinking that maybe issue

RMA the motherboard and you might wind up with a nice Z77 chipset since the Z68 is probably no longer available.
