    Wonder if this will drive the 840 evo price down. Difficult to decide to replace my 840 evo with this....

    I would love a 2 TB one.  My D drive is up to 750 GB

    That is not a bad price but in my personal opinion SSD prices need to fall further.

    I paid 600 for a 1 TB 840 Evo. The only thing i would do at this point is buy a second and raid.

    I hope the 840 evo does have nice drop and samsung transitions it over instead of creating both.
     
    I would love some more for raid.

    That must have been quite awhile ago. I spent $390 on mine about two months ago. I don't think its a big deal not having the latest SSD's, the 840 EVO's are still really great SSDs overall and once you factor in their price there is simply nothing better.

    It was last holiday season, when they were actually 700 $ still. That 100 $ off was a deal i found somewhere. Kinda crazy, but i am still glad i bought it.
