I'm about to do a new build and I am having a really hard time choosing between getting
gtx 680 sli or just one gtx 690. I also know the titan is right around the corner and from
what I've read, its suppose to be a pretty darn good card. Just need some pros and cons
of getting 680 sli or 690.
Pc build:
I7 3770k
asus sabertooth z77 or gigabyte g1. sniper(can't decide)
Noctua Nh-d14
128gb samsung pro ssd
1tb WD black
1050w seasonic-x
cooler master hafxm

What resolution will you be playing at? What's your budget for video cards? I don't think Titan will be coming out as it's just a rumor.

What resolution will you be playing at? What's your budget for video cards? I don't think Titan will be coming out as it's just a rumor.

yes its 100% true that the card will be coming out and pretty soon. supposedly there could be some info this weekend about it but it looks like there may be announcement on the 18th with reviewers getting up to 3 cards and reviews and full info being posted on the 19th. actual availability may not be for a week after that. I guess they just want to announce it before the 20th which is supposed to be the day we get PS4 announcement.

Well right now I'm going with a single benq xl2420t 120hz monitor and maybe get two more off ebay but that's not a for sure thing haha and Yeah titan is suppose to be released by the end of this month and it looks pretty good but it does have a high price for it. As for budget I really don't feel like going over the price of a evga gtx 690 so i guess $999... I really like the classified gtx 680. Looks like a well built card but its a little to pricey for and 4gb is nothing I need right now haha

that is nearly 900 bucks which is the rumored price that Titan will be. Titan will be almost as fast, have more vram and no sli issues to worry about. so in reality Titan will end up faster in some cases. so if spending that much then wait to see what Titan actual price and availability is like.

Yeah I'm waiting on it. It's just hard to wait! :\ I wish they would release some reviews on it already! And hopefully it lives up to all its hype haha
