Hey Kram. I haven't read through the entire thread lately, so I don't know if this has been posted. But I just noticed that Intel released Linpack 10.3.4 on 5/5/11. So the binaries in the original compilation are now outdated. I will once again host LinX 0.6.4, but this time with Linpack 10.3.4 binaries included. The file can be downloaded here: http://www.mediafire.com/?xmbxz02kwox20bl

EVGA 4.2GHZ S..lity Badge Thanks. Ok, I changed temps in post to Celsius. Sorry, but just never have been able to wrap my head around celsius. Too old I guess.

jethc9, thanks for updating the linpack binaries for us again. The op has been changed with the new download. bdary, yeah I don't use Celsius in any other situation except pc temps. No big deal as I used a converter to get the Celsius temps for your stability test. I just didn't want other people posting in Fahrenheit and me having to convert more of them also.

god seeing all these 950s hitting for 4.2ghz on lower voltages than me makes me think i did something wrong :( damn cooler is down for however more weeks it takes my parts to get here so i cant even tweak it. by the way Kram i found my batch number if you want to update it 3020A962 Think i may know where i went wrong or went about OCing the wrong way. Probably should try a different bclk maybe 184 with a 23 multi 2:10 divider. for some reason after looking over others OCs i think having the higher Bclk results in needing more Vcore. but who knows ill try it out when my parts get here.

Yes, made the line up! My chip wasn't as shabby as I thought lol Even though the temps at full load suck I am not disappointed. I have high ambient temperature sometimes and this chip is voltage hungry so overall not too bad. I just need better A/C and better ventilation inside the room. I am temporary living in an attic in Texas so imagine how hot it gets here lol But in 3 weeks I'm back in Germany where temps will be beautiful and full load temps should drop.

Hi rafale, after reading your review of the Antec 920, I've decided to buy one. This piece of HW wasn't in stock in germany anywhere in the last weeks so I've had to buy one from Austria... My ambient temp. was around 22°C - But my case is standing under my desk, where the airflow isn't optimal - but somehow sufficient. I'm using stock fans and a custom fan profile. The fans were not running at full speed. Because of the big chipset cooler on the E770, the 920 cannot be mounted on the back exaust of the 800d. (only on top) I'll play a little bit more around with my current OC setting to see if I can improve the temps a litttle bit :-) (#Edit: If I set the fans to extreme setting, the temps will drop about 3-4°C on hottest core)

@Beriphem Holy cow, 4.2ghz with only 1.25v??? There must be something I've done wrong... I was on 1.35v at 200 BCLK, but that gave me a real of 199.5 in windows, so cpuz and other showed 4189.5mhz. I though it wasn't enough so I pushed BCLK at 201 (just enough so in windows it showed 4.21 at 200.5). I had to crank all the way up to 1.415v... Unless it's my ram at 2ghz holding me back
