Rixter can you PM your BIOS template? I just want to see what other voltages you used to reach 4.2 on such a low Vcore.

fasterhoads, you're missing this info in your stability submission Forum Name <---- THIS IS IMPORTANT. DO NOT FORGET THIS. Core i7 (whichever you have) Batch #: (not required, but would be nice to include) CPU clocked at: Voltage: Idle temps: Load temps: GFlop peak: (used for any clock speed ties, higher gflops wins) and on top of that, it appears you're not using the latest linpack binaries as your GFlops are way too low for your cpu type and speed. Please download the LinX from the first page of this thread and use that in your stability testing.

@fasterhoads, still relatively low GFlops for a 980X... your temps are on the verge of Tjunction (100C) which is NOT a good thing! May wanna try remounting your heatsink. What's your ambient temps?

Another part of the reason the Gflops are so low is the uncore is only at 2.4ghz The slow caches are starving the cpu.

Sabishii Hito, your GFlop speed is too low to be using the latest linpack binaries with your cpu type and speed. Please see the first post of this thread and download the LinX from the link there.

I did indeed download and use the latest linpack from the first page; my low uncore probably has a lot to do with the seemingly low gflops. Memory and uncore were on defaults. I can run it again but I don't think it will change much...
