Wouldn't it be worth keeping the second card around, PhysX or not, just to see how Vulkan pans out?  I'm interested to see whether the idea of efficient multi-GPU support without the use of SLI or Crossfire can be realized.


I done the whole PhysX game before, and realized the best method is do SLI (I understand the underlined part is an opinion, not a fact. Scores vary from PC to PC), and set the PhysX to "Auto". This way the PhysX can decide which avenue to approach, whether it be the 2nd GPU from SLI or the CPU, so you have a smooth transition. Even if you prefer one GPU, and still have a PhysX card, it is best to have the PhysX set to "auto".
