Sounds very bad indeed. You should never have shipped it or left the store without getting the guy who dropped it to pay. -You- are responsible for the condition of the card. *If the shipping guy broke it, you will need HIM to replace it-->EVGA is simply going to send the broken card back. It would appear you are out of luck and a card completely....

Hi HyperFiddle, Unfortunately with these types of scenarios it is very difficult to support under warranty unless it is something extremely minor . If you can please send me pictures of the product's current condition with detail, I can review the product and let you know up front prior to shipping it in. Regards,

Hi HyperFiddle, Thank you for providing the images for review. Unfortunately as the crack is more severe it wouldn't be able to be supported under the warranty. My best recommendation is to see if the shipping location might be able to work with you regarding the loss. Sincerely,

You should definitely speak with a manager at the store or contact someone higher than the manager. They should have video showing him drop it. Request the video.
In future scenarios, use the plastic or foam that the cars comes in for shipping. Do not allow a post person handle your card outside of the protective sleeve that it came with. That may have afforded you some protection, but at this point, if they don't reprimand him and replace at least the value, you are 100% out of luck.
Also, it's never a "replacement card". Broken internally is one thing, broken from a fall can make it seem as though nothing was originally broken internally.

Thanks for your reply! Next time I should carry it by myself :) I never shipped something before and still did not. The customer services told me that because my graphics card is fully functional, they would not do anything for me. It's not a big deal, I have 2 minor problems on my graphics card: Loud and the little hook broken next to the motherboard connector. And uh I did not understand your last sentence sorry :/

The shipping guy said, don't worry, it is for replacement anyway... No.. It is not. It is your money. The card that EVGA WOULD have sent to you is a replacement. If he dropped the card hard enough to break off piece of the PCB, he may have damaged more than just that piece. I would be unrelenting and make them compensate for dropping it.

Hmm for the state of the graphics card, I've tried and it seems to work as normal. I'll try to make them compensate tomorrow though. Any tips? Thanks Scarlet-Tech!

I would go way above customer service, personally. I would talk directly to a manager in front of the person that dropped it, and request video of that time frame.
Lastly, see if you see any signs clearly posted saying that they are not responsible for damage during packaging.
I keep trying to pull the picture up, and it keeps sending me to the home page.. Mobile Web browsing is terrible, lol.

They do acknowledge that an employee dropped the card :/ but urg... I really don't know how to talk with them. So as my card is not for sale anymore (I think), what should I ask them to pay/give/do? Thanks a lot for your fast responses ^^

I would request them fund a replacement, since you were shipping the card in for replacement.
Be kind, because they are going to do their best to refuse your anything, as long as they can.
Be honest about what happened. Let them know you came in to ship it back to receive a replacement, and the employee dropped it and physically broke the card, and now the company is refusing to fix it, since physical damage is not covered under the warranty.

Fund a replacement you mean like paying a portion so I can buy a new card? Sorry I have problems with English :( And the 2 last paragraph I did that before and you are right that they try to refuse to do anything, they just want to cut the phone line asap.

Don't call.. Never call.. People on the phone aren't generally there. Go to the store, talk to the manager.
Either have them purchase you a new card or pay EVGA the cost of replacement for sending this card in. I am not sure EVGA will be able to actually do anything, because of the physical damage, but the post can speak with them and find out if nothing else.

Ahh because that day I talked to another employee and he said to call the customer service so I did. For me, it is not EVGA's fault so I don't think I should make things complicated for EVGA. So I better talk to Canada Post again but this time with the manager

You better get a copy of that video of him dropping it before it ends up erased etc.:... or your gonna be screwed. If you can get as much as you can of their responses to you in writing.... always create a papertrail so you have proof no matter how tiny the detail. I wouldn't let this go and would be annoyingly persistent until they made it right.
