your q6600 is old and if it's not overclocked its slow I just gave my q6600 to my son and at 3.6ghz its about as fast as my 4.4ghz i3 duel core what does that tell you the new duel cores are faster than the old quads if you dont believe  that your cpu is bottlenecking your system play crysis2 or metro 2033 or any new game your gpu usage should be 95-99% if not your cpu is bottlenecking the 570.

Aeneas32,

I guess I am in need of some clarification here. Would you please explain to me what you are saying in this statement?

"A Quad 6600 is an aggregate 9.600 GHz speed CPU."

Aeneas32,

"A Quad 6600 is an aggregate 9.600 GHz speed CPU."

Well if that is what he thinks, then he is very mistaken because that is how a CPU does NOT work.

He is saying that he is a troll and wants people to think he has a little knowledge about computers by using aggregate in a sentence.

Aeneas32,

In your post #85 you suggested "that EVGA stop using this forum to perform sales and marketing promotion with fake 'customers' posting responses here."

First, it is their board. They OWN it. It's called private property. They can do whatever they wish on or in it. We're just guests.

Second, you have been accusing some members of being employees of EVGA and that they have been posting fake replies to your posts. While I am sure that they, those members, consider your allegations a badge of honor, none the less it raises a question that needs answered. Do you have proof that they are indeed employees of EVGA? Post it! If not, apologies are in order.

This thread is hilarious

You may want to edit your post as there was a warning about it in the past and it won't be tolerated. The Star Trek scene wording.

Perhaps you should call evga rather than post on a forum.
I have called them and received the runaround, as I mentioned.
In addition, I found that the people I spoke were not forthcoming about
the issues that they know about with this 570 card.
They generally have a hostile and disdainful attitude toward customers.
And they are trying to cheat me out of my right to replace this defective card
with something else.
And I have yet to make contact with the customer service manager.

This guy appears to be a trooling crybaby that has an antiquated piece of junk computer and wants EVGA to give him something he dosn't deserve. Grow up and up grade your dang fossil computer to something more modern and your video card will preform properly.

A quad Q6600 is an aggregate 9.600 GHz speed CPU.
That is still faster as an aggregate than most PCs being sold,
even to this day.

Just goes to prove my point about you not knowing enough about computers to need one.
Look at where your CPU is on this list and tell me again that it is faster than most pc's being sold.
http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_lookup.php?cpu=Intel+Core2+Quad+Q6600+@+2.40GHz
Yours is 29 from the bottom of the very long list. qq
Your arrogance is overriding your knowledge about computers.

That is the one High End top list out of 4 CPU lists from that CPU rating website.
High End
Migh Mid
Low Mid
Low End

On that High End list there are 39 chips above the Q6600 which cost over $1,000 .
How many of those overpriced CPUs do you think are being sold ?
The GTX 570 costs around $350 and should be mated with a CPU
priced at no more than maybe $500.
The I7-3930K is around $590, and might be considered for the role
since it has exceptional speed.

EVGA forum administrators are clearly trying to hide the content of this thread,
by moving the thread to an obscure section of the forum.

Believe me, your conspiracy theory is wrong. Also those members you stated before as Evga employees acting as customers is absurd. They are not Evga employees. Wait for an actual Evga Tech to help you. His or her title will be in their avatar. Sorry your having problems.
