So I noticed that the software wasn't installed after doing the Win 10 x64 upgrade.  After installing the latest version (5.3.7) I'm getting a pop-up whenever I try to load the software (attached).

I have repaired .NET and reinstalled multiple times with no resolution.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,

    #1 Download file from here.
#2 Place file in C:\Windows\System32 folder.
    #3 Restart computer.
    #4 Start precision.
    #5 Done.

Uhm, i'm not sure if you really want to download .dll files from a random website.... It's a MS file so it must be in a package somewhere. Always manually check for the file. It's possible that PrecisionX does not have enough access rights resulting in the same message. If you do not want to get hijacked then do not download random .dll's for the system32 folder. This is how you get robbed of your stuff.

The site is safe and the file can be analyzed by virustotal.com if he wants to check it. He could also get the missing file by downloading the realbench software provided by asus here.

Don't even try and debate it. That file is also included in the official Microsoft C++ Redist packages that you can download for free from the original location. 99,9% that those files are present in the system32 folder, but the program can't find them.
Those sites are far from safe. They are the frontline in cyber warfare. Literally. "Oh, the site is supported by another website that has anti-virus in its name then it must be safe". Just don't...

So I checked and the .dll is in the System32 folder, so I'm guessing its a permissions issue somewhere. I'll dig into it more and see if I can find out what is going on.

I did download Precision via Steam to see if it would be easier to keep it updated (since there are updates every 20 minutes it seems) but I didn't like the fact that it would only load when Steam was running, so I uninstalled it, and that's when I started running into issues.

I had the same problem. The dll was already in the system32 folder, so I set all the executables for PrecisionX to be "Run as admin" (the client and both server EXEs) and it seems to work fine now. Thanks BRooDJeRo for the access rights hint.

This cannot be stressed enough, thank you. I'm having the same problem on a Win7 installation. The MSVCR120.DLL file is in the System32 folder, and the sfc /scannow utility shows it to be uncorrupted. The file permissions show both the application and the .dll to have full permissions.

Funny thing is it worked the other day when I first installed PrecisionX 16 to test my fans because they weren't running when I played was I thought was a pretty gfx intensive game. No idea what the problem is now. How do you set the permissions?
