Processor: Intel i9-9900k
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z390 Maximus XI code
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB(2x15GB) 3200MHZ CL16
PSU: Phanteks Revolt Pro 850W 80Plus Gold
Cooler: Corsair H150i Pro 360mm AIO Liquid Cooler
SSD: 1TB SK Hynix NVME
Case: Phanteks P400
Operating System: Windows 10 Home
I also have a Evga 3070 ftw3 ultra

I was doing the power meter in precision x1 and it told me that my wattage was 908 and that I needed to buy a 1000 Watt PSU. Would that be enough if I wanted to add more fans and maybe another GPU later down the road? Or should I save up to get the 1200 watt? What caused me to go down this route is due to my GPU intermittently not powering on after use. After falling down the rabbit hole of possibility I came to the conclusion that perhaps it was the power supply. Thank you for any and all help.

Seems a bit high, a 3070 only requires a 650w PSU, and while an i9 9900K can draw over 200w when overclocked hard, it shouldn't be a problem with a 3070. Worst case scenario with a 3090/4090, an 850w is recommended but it wouldn't hurt going up to 1000w in that case. A 1200w shouldn't strictly be necessary, but arguments can be made for a a larger PSU in some use cases to maximize efficiency.

I would keep what you have.
The video card does not use 650 watts.  650 watts is the minimum recommended power supply for a whole typical computer which uses that video card.  The video card itself uses only 300 watts.
You have plenty to spare, and you have a power supply which is 30% more than the minimum recommended.  You should not worry.
