No GTX 980 SSC?

GTX 980 SSC with the reference 980 cooler would be sweeeet. Why isn't there an SSC 980 but there is for 970? That doesn't really make much sense at all.

    Yes, but he is talking about the SSC. SSC = Super Super Clocked.

    Didn't EVGA drop the SSC line and just stuck with Vanilla, SC, FTW & Classified instead?

    Supposedly but there's an SSC 970. I'd love an SSC 980 just for the nod to the 280 SSC I started out gaming with.

    I do remember the GTX 295 SSC 2GB, these cards were sooo nice, due to their Out Of Stock-ness I went for the EVGA GTX 295 Red Editions hehe and that is where my passion for GX2 collecting began, aaah dem memorieezzz xDDDD
