 bcavnaugh, I Started on the last release 376.09 same problem I have reverted all the way back to 369.09. I have both cards in the same machine and they are running on stock settings. The 580 is running fine it is the 780ti that is having the issue. Using Folding at home Version 7.4.4 on a windows 10 pro, 64 bit machine no overclocking on the cpu. Intel I7-4790


373.06, I have never installed 376.09 Most if all issues are only on Maxwell and Pascal Cards.

More of the same today low ppd , wu's getting sent with low points . I will download new driver tonight and install after work see if its any better . I think there new core broke old drivers mite of fixed new ones . I do not get new drivers every time they come out heck only reason I open a screen to comp is if its nor showing points over at extreme .

I am staying with Driver 373.06 on all my Rigs.


Bad info on drivers 378.57 even with broke driver was doing better ppd

Excuse off-topic question but for GPU folding only on GTX10XX cards is Win 10 Pro 64 or Win 7 Pro 64 preferred?

Someone has to test and it really is not bad info, each computer is going give different PPD as each GPU and most of all WU Projects.
It takes time to test and retest you know this. For my GTX 1080 Cards they ran Very Well Not so Well on my GTX 980.
It seems that for the last 2 weeks all I have been doing change drivers after drivers and still more Drivers.
kerryd I am sorry that you feel that I am giving out bad info.
 
I am also correcting my Posts with "I am staying with Driver 373.06 on all my Rigs."

Excuse off-topic question but for GPU folding only on GTX10XX cards is Win 10 Pro 64 or Win 7 Pro 64 preferred?


Windows 7 8 or 10 x64 a GTX 9xx or GTX 10xx Higher Graphics Card.
But the GTX 780 Still Folds fine only at Lower PPD
Older Card Fold at an even lower PPD but still Fold.
Sometime Windows 10 gives us Driver issues but it is ok.

I am still having the same trouble set my computer to not update auto update drivers reverted all the way back to 373.06 restart my computer and windows resets back to 373.53 so I saw that there was a hot fix to 373.60 I have upgraded to that still the same problem My 580 classified works just fine my 780ti gets a bad state error. Is this a indicator that something is wrong with my video card? I am running Windows 10pro 64 bit. with and Intel I7-4790 running the Version 7.4.4 version of the folding client.
Very frustrating don't know what to do I can't make the quota for 3 Mil if I can't get my other card to fold. Here is the last log:

Mostly because you are running older Graphics Cards 780Ti & a 580

You are failing on your GeForce GTX 580 card as shown it your other Post not the GeForce GTX 780Ti Card.
Are you overclocking the Graphics Cards?
What are your Event Logs showing do you have any dump files in C:\WINDOWS\LiveKernelReports\WATCHDOG
You can use BlueScreenView to see what code you are getting like 141 or 139 or even 121 and 124

Remove the GeForce GTX 580 from your Computer altogether and See how well your GeForce GTX 780Ti runs

As I posted in the other thread ( http://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2613900 ), you can easily stop Windows 10 from installing drivers using 2 different methods.  I personally used the registry editor to disable Cortana because I didn't know about the Group Policy method at the time.  
 
Even manually running Windows Update doesn't install drivers now:  But not sure if that's only because I also changed group policy last night after finding that method.  EDIT: verified that it was the group policy change that stopped the driver update from Windows Update.

I run win 7 lucky me lol I would still be on XP but no new programs for it . Now just got to get past the 4 or 5 power outages a day . Guess thats what happens with 3 or 4 feet of snow drops . Now its freezing rain fun fun

This is good news: UPDATE: NVIDIA win driver 378.66 should be the first version where the NVIDIA FAH hotfix has been removed.
