Pretty nice. I wonder how result would have been if you had i7 2600k or i7 3930k. My reference gtx 680 sli had x7000 and p18300 at stock i7 3930k with 132%/135mhz/350mhz on gtx 680 sli.

I am still in the process of overclocking it been at it for about 5 hours now almost done. Those benchmarks were at stock. Once I have it rdy I will post the results and we can compare. . .

Well I canceled my 690 order and got 2 670 sc 2gb.

You saved me $200

Although I wonder if 8x 8x PCIe 2.0 will hurt me a lot. In which case the 690 would be the better buy.

Thanks for that video. If you swapped out the fan all together would it be quieter? Or is that the compressor making a bit of the noise as well?

why? u have p67 board? That's the only reason I'm avoiding the P67 or Z68. They're downgraded version of everything, except the SATA III native controller.

Its not as easy as just swapping out the fans you need someone that can tweak them and knows about these systems or someone that builds them. I know someone who builds custom ones hey make some top of the line systems hey also works for cooler express. If you really want one shoot me a PM and I will send you his details he can answer any questions you have way better then me plus he can let you know how much a custom built one would cost you should be less than a cooler express. The compressor does make some noise but I think its mostly fan.

Here are my overclocking results. My highest Gpu offset is +75 my boost clock was always at max which is @ 1215mhz on both cards. The highest I was able to take the memory was +480 which is @ 7160mhz on both cards.

Here are some pics

+75 , +400

+75 , +450

+75 , +480

I will be added some more later on from Heaven. . .

I have z68.

I have decided to wait and see. I read that drivers are holding back the 680 and 690 so I will wait.

Hmm, after looking at your 3dmark11 scores, I am starting to wonder, you got 13349 at stock, and my best score with 2 580's OC'ed was 12468. I wonder how much of a difference my CPU makes compared to yours. I myself am upgrading to 2x 670's. Hopefully the performance difference is worth it, I do play most of my games in 3D.

CPU: Intel Core i7 980 @ 4ghz 1.275V
MOBO: Asus P6T Mobo
RAM: 24gb Corsair Vengeance RAM 1600 @ 1.5v
GPU: 2x EVGA GTX 670 2gb SLI
SSD: Intel 520 120gb
HDD: 2x 300gb WD Raptors, 4TB of Storage
SOUND: Audigy 2 ZS
PSU: BFG EX-1000 1000W
LCD: Asus VG278h 3D Vision2

Yea I think I can push mines to that mark also but I think my power supply is holding me back at I think it hit its limit as sometime it work without any problem and other times my pc just reboots.  my power suppy is abot 5 years old I know it is working prefectly but I think if I want to push my video cards higher while keeping my cpu overclock I will need to upgrade to 1200watts PSU.  Thing is I am broke right now so that will have to wait a bit. Dam it sucks when you know it can push a higher overclock but something is holding you back. That one of the reasons was why I upgraded my cpu cooling to a phase change  so I can set my cpu to the max without anything holding me back I hate when something like this happens.

Please benchmark Battlefield 3 @ 1920X1080 on Ultra settings with 3D Vision.  I want to know the average FPS.

1200 watt psu is overkill for these cards.  Kepler is more efficient than fermi.  An 850 to 1000 watt psu would be fine.

Maybe you are right maybe its not my PSU that limiting from setting +80 gpu offset  maybe its the cards them self's that can't do it .

yeah! i don't think its the power supply at all.  maybe the gpu are hitting the limit maybe?
