I own an older Noctua (the one that used to come with their heatsinks) and I have a GentleTyphoon AP-14 somewhere, there was certainly no audible difference between the two.  I never used them on a heatsink though so I can't really speak for which performs better.

The NOCTUA industrial fans are louder.
They do have good GREAT static pressure.

Are they still louder if I ran both industrial and non at 1500 rpm?

Noiseblocker E-loop B12-4 move some air, I have them on 2 480 rads and I have 8 af 120 corsair as case fans that Im thinking of replacing with these, not sure yet though

You can try http://www.silentpcreview.com/ if that helps... they are the king about noise level testing and are extremely strict about stray sounds as well, even post audio recordings of the air coolers in action. 


Have water, will cool.
