Ladies and gents, we're within DAYS of passing 100 Billion Points! That Billion with the Capital B!

My current back of the napkin math has us passing this milestone sometime on the 27th, assuming our PPD avg stays steady.  So, how about it? Do you think we can pass the 100 Billion point milestone by September 1st?

Holy crap - I just realized that I joined in folding full time for EVGA sometime just after the team crossed over the 2 Billion points mark.  I've been with you fine folks for around 97 some Billion points!

Digging back into the archives and the earliest reference to team points is our crossing of 1.5 Billion in Nov. of 2009 - http://forums.evga.com/EVGA-foldinghome-team-surpasses-15-billion-points-m29195.aspx

In those days there was lots of talk about only being 1 Billion points behind [H], EVGA climbing up through the ranks to become [H]'s primary threat . . . And now we're watching our lead over Default slowly climb towards 10 Billion and I'm keeping an eye on when we're going to officially double [H]'s total points.

I always got a kick out of our team name in the Chimp Challenge - The EVGApes - But we have proven time and again that we are indeed the 800 lb Gorilla just waiting to put the smack down on anything standing between us and Folding dominance!

Keep on folding, my awesome Pimp sisters and brothers! We shall smack those WUs into their proper place and work towards the eventual solution of a great deal of biological puzzles with our hard work and donations of time and electricity.

I've been folding since year 3. Managed to push 1.1 million in one month back then! Proud to be pushing 1.5m PPD your way now!

Awesome team. Based upon the limited times my wife allows me to fold I'll give all I've got!

Sorry guys.and gals, I'm running the bjorn3d contest rest of this month. Have to wait till September.

No need to apologize at all.  I'm at my own personal limit after dripping just over 2.4 million points into the Bjorn3d pot myself.  I'll be negotiating a few more days grace a little later in the month, I think.
 
You do what you can and no more, because we all realize that YOUR ability to do this is what drives this. We all know what it's like to have our limits to the resources.

The 100 Billion point line isn't going to disappear on us until we roll by it. Scott's fold-a-thon is a worthy cause to drop your points into.

As of the 6pm EDT update on August 13th, we're at 1,719,485,345 points away from the big 100 B!!
 
I also realize that this means we're likely to cross over most likely in the 2nd week of September, but I will keep an eye on the numbers and try to narrow that actual window down a bit.

As of 9am EDT on August 21st, we crossed over the 1 billion point line, counting down to 100 Billion!

No such thing, my friend! As soon as you fire up the software, you are a full blown soldier in the cause! Welcome, and may your journey be pimping as all get out!

600 million to go, about 6 days at current rates.

The last day or two, I've watched our daily averages creeping upwards, pushing our crossover back into this month! Way to Fold, my brothers and sisters!

Kids started back to school, and I e been so busy between work and side work in the evening that nobody has been on my machine for the most part. So my averages should creep up to just over 2 million PPD. Wish I had the cash to pick up a 4th 980TI classy to match the rest. That would put me close to 2.5 million PPD.
