I replaced my deceased Silencer Mk III 1200w PSU with an EVGA 1300 G2 and I am one happy camper right now. The cables are all the right length so I didn't need the extensions I used with my old PSU. The cables are also nice and pliable making routing them a breeze. I even got my new dual-bay Alphacool reservoir all lit up.
 

 

I get some scoffing about the wood blocks but they allow better airflow through the bottom vents.

I had it sitting on 2x4 blocks when it was on the floor to keep dust out of my front fan filters. When I kept my H220's 240 radiator up top I was watercooling both video boards on a single 240 mounted in the bottom blowing air outside. It was like a blast furnace so I lifted the case again using the blocks I got from Amazon. A 240mm radiator is NOT enough to cool two video boards. I could barely touch the reservoir the coolant was so hot. Someone donated the Monsta 360 and a mounting bracket to help me out and that got my temperatures down by quite a bit.

Kill-A-Watt shows nearly 600 watts consumption through the power plug from the wall. The fan in this PSU is so quiet I couldn't tell if it was running. I had to hold a paper towel under my case to see if it was drawing any air and it sucked it tight up to the air inlet. I am very satisfied and would highly recommend this PSU to anyone over any of the other companies I have tried in the past. I was quite surprised at the high quality of the unit and the cables supplied with it and how easy the cable management was. It's definitely a keeper for me.

Yay, I see that! Thank you. I managed to lose 13 votes somewhere when I backspaced to update my benchmark score and it cleared everything out. What a bummer. I wasn't thinking and just started over when almost exactly one day later someone else did the same thing and the webmaster was able to restore everything for him. I decided that I waited too long and never bothered.
