Damn! I just got home too to get to my serial number for a earlier gpu I bought to register it. Sucks! Probably for the best but I could sale my current 3090 and pay this thing off cash money! I had fps dreams! although maybe not some many more than I get now. Thank you for the reply, makes sense.

Most of the 30 series SKUs are closed to registration. The 3090 Tis opened today, but EVGA has closed registration for the 4981 (likely because they have a long list of registrants and do not forecast a lot of supply of that model).
But hopefully there will be more of the 4983 and 4985s? Less people buying them means we could get one in days or weeks instead of months?

For the 4985, I think it will have greater supply than the 4983, but I anticipate the queue stretching into the early summer. But, yes, it should not be like the 3080 Ti, 3080, etc. queues that have had greater demand and lower prices...that were made available when the 40 series was just a glint in EVGA_JacobF's eye.

yeah I signed at 709pt and was notified at 746 am pt. and auto notify was gone around 11am pt

For those that live near Columbus Ohio, Micro Center has 8 "EVGA RTX 3090 Ti FTW3 ULTRA" currently in stock (In Store Only).
They also have quite a number of 30 Series cards in stock. Prices are still stupid high now but it looks like they are dropping.

The 4000 series won't arrive for 7-10 months which is not exactly right before it arrives.
Yup, nothing too far out of the ordinary. Buy now, or buy later. All part of that great merry-go-round of technology. I tend to skip one generation when it comes to GPUs.

Meanwhile at Microcenter, the $1999 card had less stock yet sold out the last. The Ultra, however, with double the stock quickly sold out like hotcakes. With asus charging more money for 3090 strix makes the evga 3090 ti look like it's the best deal of the year.

Are you interested in purchasing a 3090 or a 3090 Ti? There is a 3090 that is currently "in stock" ( 3090 FTW3 Ultra (SKU 3987)). The 3090 Tis that launched today...the 3090 Ti FTW3 Ultra (SKU 4985) and 3090 Ti FTW3 Gaming (SKU 4983) may be available for non-Elites to register for them tomorrow starting at approximately 6 am PT. I doubt the 3090 FTW3 Black (SKU 4981) will be available for queue registration any time soon. Even folks with scores of "zero" will get allocated some units from each drop to the queues. Per the new 3.0 Queue, if you have not bought a 30 Series card direct from EVGA yet, you get moved in front of people that have bought a 30 Series card direct from EVGA. So don't give up hope.

Registrations (for point purposes) are tabulated at the beginning of each month. Your EVGA Score will not change until April 1 at the earliest. But, if you register today, you will have an earlier timestamp than those that register tomorrow, but timestamp is only one of the factors in the Queue 3.0 Rules (and not the most important one).
