This driver is fantastic for FAST SYNC on Maxwell.

Download Nvidia Inspector, Nvidia Profile Inspector, Global Driver Profile.
    • Triple buffering off
    • Vertical Sync 0x18888888
    • Vertical Sync Smooth AFR behavior Off
    • Vertical Sync Tear Control Standard
    • Antialiasing Transparency Multisampling Enabled
    • Antialiasing Transparancy Supersampling 2x Supersampling
    • Nvidia Predefined FXAA Usage Disallowed
    • Anistropic filtering setting 16x (8x minimum)
    • Texture filtering Trilinear Optimization Off
    • Ambient Occlusion usage Enabled
    • Multi-Display Single Display
    • Power management mode Adaptive (I've heard max perf is for debugging only)

And that's about it. OFC Negative LOD Bias should be set to Allow. I'm running a Titan X SC so YMMV.

Yet overall, I'd recommending trying Fast Sync with this driver, the difference is night and day

The Windows 8.1 64 bit version is compatible with Win 7 64 bit.

Let me know if you see any difference because I'm sure you definitely will.

    So much for GSYNC :)

This is just my personal feedback and I'm not responsible for any issues that you may encounter.

    Hope this helps! Thx!

I just looked up what Fast Sync is - and me not having a Gsync monitor (and probably never will since I game on a TV), this looks really darn good. I am going to get the hotfix drivers and give her a test drive!

Thank you for pointing this out!

    Regards,

if you can change it, it's this below.
    Vertical Sync 0x18888888
For whatever reason, I could not update it using Nvidia Inspector.  The one I saw on YouTube had an extra modify icon I did not get.  But I have not spent too much time researching this.  hope you have better luck.

for 980ti don't bother with any driver after 365.19. I bought new GPUs sealed in box from overclockersuk and the new drivers constantly crashed / NVidia display stopped reposnding and loads of NVidia tex graphics exceptions when playing a youtube video and max / minimising the screen would cause the driver to crash.

I'm using 368.39 (these hot fix drivers lower my 3dmark combined scores considerably) in Windows 10 Pro 64 bit and I'm not seeing that at all. I use Chrome to watch YouTube videos - do you as well?

Its easy to replicate now and I've confirmed the issue with the 368.39 on dual 960 and 950 so I know NVidia are lying scumbags and their drivers are broken.

Open up IE go to youtube and play any video, Then with the IE browser and just 1 window open (the one with the video in it) constantly maximise then minimize and keep repeating. Eventually you get driver stopped responding and NVidia tex graphics exceptions in the windows event viewer. These drivers are utterly utterly awful !!! not tried any other browser or tried a non sli setup. But definitely happening on 3 rigs with sli and windows 10 enterprise 64 bit build 10586.420. All cards are evga branded, but I'm sure its not limited to evga going by guru3d forums.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE DRIVERS IF YOU HAVE SLI !!!!!

Not saying I don't believe you, but 3 machines all sli with different 9xx cards all with the same issue all different builds (2 machines are 16GB DDR I7 6700k and 1 machine is i7 2600k) cant be a coincidence sorry. Or did you mean you don't see the issue in the event viewer ? you don't see the NVidia display driver crashing everytime I maximise / minimise an IE window with youtube playing a video ?

Again not saying I don't believe you but how come I'm seeing it across 3 machines ? what cards are you running with in SLI ?

OK NM just saw your video. Will try and post a video later myself. I notice in the NVidia control panel it said 4x Titan X. It could well be it does not affect Titan X gpus. To be clear, my 780ti and 750ti gpus (780ti in sli) are not affected by this issue on latest drivers. From what I have seen on GeForce forums and guru3d its strictly 900 series cards having the issue.

Whilst I sort out a video, the fix that helped me was post 166 here

    https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/940156/geforce-drivers/official-368-39-game-ready-whql-display-driver-feedback-thread-released-6-7-16-/post/4899172/#4899172

When I get the video up the issue is obvious and reproducible. I appreciate your having no issue, and I'm not trying to be arsey / smart / clever / troll as I have nothing to gain from doing that. Its great your not having any issue I'm glad at least the drivers work for you. But for a lot of people over on GeForce forums there is something considerably wrong with the last 2 GeForce drivers.

Lots of things could be causing the problem. I don't think it's just the drivers fault.

Found out how to make it crash...

    #1 Open IE.
    #2 Open tools. Alt+X.
#3 Select internet options from drop menu.
    #4 Goto advanced tab.
#5 Under "accelerated graphics" make sure "use software rendering instead of gpu rendering" is un-checked.
    #6 Happy crashing.

With "use software rendering instead of gpu rendering" check marked it won't crash.

Bad drivers for me.  SLI would not work properly.  Rolled back to 365.19.  Neet to try 368.39 though.

System Specs: Intel i7-7700k @ 4.8ghz, Noctua NH-U14S, Asus ROG Max.

Sorry something came up last night but as promised

IE is the problem. Chrome gpu rendering works perfectly fine.

for 980ti don't bother with any driver after 365.19.

I just updated to 368.51 last night but have not tried it yet.   I'll have to check this out tonight with my SLI set up.  I'll let you know if I have the same issue.

Was getting an occasional flicker with last whql. Thought there was a problem with my sli bridge. These drivers are working well with fallout 4 and gta5.

This driver is fantastic for FAST SYNC on Maxwell.

Download Nvidia Inspector, Nvidia Profile Inspector, Global Driver Profile.
    • Triple buffering off
    • Vertical Sync 0x18888888
    • Vertical Sync Smooth AFR behavior Off
    • Vertical Sync Tear Control Standard
    • Antialiasing Transparency Multisampling Enabled
    • Antialiasing Transparancy Supersampling 2x Supersampling
    • Nvidia Predefined FXAA Usage Disallowed
    • Anistropic filtering setting 16x (8x minimum)
    • Texture filtering Trilinear Optimization Off
    • Ambient Occlusion usage Enabled
    • Multi-Display Single Display
    • Power management mode Adaptive (I've heard max perf is for debugging only)

And that's about it. OFC Negative LOD Bias should be set to Allow. I'm running a Titan X SC so YMMV.

Yet overall, I'd recommending trying Fast Sync with this driver, the difference is night and day

The Windows 8.1 64 bit version is compatible with Win 7 64 bit.

Let me know if you see any difference because I'm sure you definitely will.

    So much for GSYNC :)

This is just my personal feedback and I'm not responsible for any issues that you may encounter.

    Hope this helps! Thx!

Can you please provide me with a good calibration setting from the NVIDIA driver set version 368.69 - WHQL? My Setup is Titan X SLI and I own a Acer Predator X34 Gaming Monitor with NVIDIA G-Sync. Thank you!
