Yes,but there are no spec's what so ever on this card. So everything in the previous article is fiction.

I will believe in R9-390X when card show up and reviews check them.
Until then I open and for delay to the next year. Everything is possible.
They have no resources and knowledge for race with NVIDIA last 2-3 years.
Because of that NVIDIA customers didn't get Titan Black on beginning of 2013, they get on beginning of 2014.
Because of that GTX980 is high end card not GM204 mid range chip and GM200 high end.
That's fact, we will see what is AMD capable to do.
To allow NVIDIA even more space or force NVIDIA to do best they can for lower price.
To be honest I would not like to AMD win because I love NVIDIA graphic chips but I would like to AMD weaker for 8-10% chase NVIDIA.
That would be best scenario for NVIDIA fans.

Maybe or maybe not.

It could be that reviewers have the cards but are not allowed to release any info until NVIDIA authorizes them to do so. The GPU tech conference is this week starting on Monday so we'll have to see if NVIDIA decides to release info sometime during the conference. Difficult to say what NVIDIA will do at this point in time.

Yes, but I would not like to AMD is only 5% weaker because their fans than try to distort reality.
I hear before some time AMD fan explain that R9-295X will be still strongest cards and about his disappointment in TITAN X performance.
They obvious don't see more than 60% difference between TITAN X and his predecessors GK110 cards.
And if R9-295X is graphic card than in some games customers will play only with half card. That's dual card and sometimes leave people with R9-290X performance. Special is stupid compare with TITAN X and R9-295X as better card because other things.
That's  compare of two rocket, one have two engines, very hot and consumption of more than 750l and other is only 10% slower but with single more advanced and much powerful engine with normal temps and consumption 250l.
That's R9-295X and TITAN X and someone is disappointed in 10-15% weaker Titan X.
If I saw results good, some version of Titan X will be same speed as R9-295X in benchmark test, optimization in games will be 50% better and smoother.

I would be happy to save money and for normal but SC version.
Somehow look more cheaper when you buy card first and than after one month testing 100-110e for water-block.
I don't know with so expensive cards for me is completely unacceptable naked card without backplate and warranty on 100MHz OC.
It's much better to EVGA put backplate in box and ask few bucks more because owners of other brands chase for backplate and try to clean fonts with acetone or something and than usually no enough backplates and people pay 50$ more for shipping and etc.

Is the EVGA store the only place expected to carry the TitanX on launch day?  Or should we expect to see them at other sites like Amazon and Newegg on day one?  If not, how long does it usually take for them to begin showing up on other sites?

EDIT: Also, what can we expect the limit per household to be set at?

I'm probably not going to preorder or get it at launch anyways.  I want to wait to hear what sort of custom versions are coming out before I jump on the ref one.

Does anyone (maybe Jacob) know if EVGA might be offering a Will Call pickup service for these on Tuesday? I live a few miles from their office and would rather just drive and pick it up!

I hope NVIDIA will win in battle, I'm on their side because more complex chips and not only raw power with terrific power consumption and heat. But I hope we will see Titan X 6GB same CUDA number as 12GB.
Many people dream about Titan Black Edition last year, some of them even paint cooler in different colors.
Now they have 60% stronger Titan with double video memory. Lucky people with different case orientation will see whole beauty of Titan X.

Best way is to visit this forum every day and read news about Titan X.
And pay attention on model, some of them will be faster at least 10% more than NVIDIA specification.
Than distance from previous series and AMD is even bigger. I doubt they have space for OC.

Agree on this.  Would not be surprised to find the 390X has zero overclocking capability ala the 4.7+ Ghz FX cpus from a couple years ago.

What is 600-700MHz for FX8350, and cost is big, at least 100-150W more for less than 1GHz OC.
Every Intel SB or IB i5 or i7 with HT Link Enabled work normal 1GHz above Intel specification with 40-50W more.
8 core Intel X reach 1300-1500MHz above specification with less power than FX8350 700-800MHz...

Well the GPU conference is at 9am PST on Tuesday and from what I gather that is when they will go into specifics and when the NDA will be lifted.  If things go like they have been in the past, it should be released on Tuesday as well.  I am sure that the main partners like EVGA will have them on day one, probably not many, so be ready to F5 and be quick.
