Just picked up my last three GTX 780 Ti SC video cards. I must say I'm pretty impressed with the performance so far. It's about what I expected. There are some anomalies with the testing. I did do this is somewhat in a hurry (for example, only did each test once, and didn't include any surround gaming). I'll update this as I do more testing. I need to do surround testing with this. One monitor (except for 4k) isn't enough to really push this setup that hard. None of these were canned benchmarks (unless an actual benchmark program is added). ***NOTE*** I had to reinstall my 331.82 drivers when I went to do the 2-way SLI tests for 5760x1080 only. I didn't realize but on all of the other tests I had texture filtering set to "High Quality". So most of these benchmarks show the "worst case scenario". *** Update *** Got a pretty nice 3dMark score on this hardware! Batman Arkham Origins Some weird results in testing. I want to run more tests for consistency sake Battlefield 4: Good scaling here. Again I'm getting close to a CPU limit I believe Bioshock Infinite: Scaling here worked well up until the 4th card. I'm most likely seeing a CPU limit or something other than the GPU at this point. Crysis 3: Things start to improve scaling wise here. Not too shabby.

Benchmarks Continued... Metro Last Light: Not quite what I expected for results, but still decent nonetheless... Skyrim: Yeah I expected this game to be CPU bound. The 2k texture mods hit the system a little harder than vanilla, but still this isn't any challenge for the 780 Tis Sleeping Dogs: I put this game in here because it has some killer SSAA. I haven't actually played this game for more than an hour or two. I should probably work on that... Tomb Raider: The combination of TressFX and SSAA make this a perfect game to test with.

I only really play BF4, and I was thinking of adding another 780Ti to my current one, and 2-way SLI BF4 benchmarks look very appealing. So think I might upgrade my processor with the additional GPU... Thanks very much for your efforts :D It will be the first time that I'll be SLI'ing. Just wondering what the temp increase the second GPU adds? Thanks

For single monitor 1440p / 1600p SLi 780Ti is the sweet spot...equivalent to my previous Tri SLi 680 Classy's.....anything more than 2 of these cards is just throwing $$$ away unless you're planning multi monitors...

I definitely need GTX780Ti or R9-290X. That's obvious from this pictures even for 1920x1080. Crysis 3, Metro Last Light, last Assassin's Creed, Bioshock Infinity and one of my favorite game Tomb Raider 2013 better to avoid with GTX780. And I buy graphic for new games. Cccc...

I used to run three 30" monitors but I only have one left now (didn't use them all that much.) I'm going to work on some 5760x1080 benchmarks and see how these numbers shift. I imagine they will a good bit.
I do know on the games that are GPU bound that they still scale at 4 cards. This is great news for when future demanding games show up.

4way is best, except 780ti I'd suggest titan to set up a 4way-SLI , especially on 4k or surround though you have very high scores , but in game we do need stability and more v-rams , the score in 3dmark is nothing , soon you'll forget it I think 2way 780ti on 1080p or 3way 780ti in 1440p is smarter , 4way 780ti in multi-displays is probably a wrong way hope you test some games with high visual effect settings msaa will bring a much clear picture , not like the dim screen from smaa/txaa , so please use 2msaa (or noaa if acceptable) , and tell us the v-ram loss that's why in 4way-SLI we must use the double v-ram (150% BF4 texture-mappings are brilliant , but video rams drop too fast) and when on 8msaa (and other hi-pressure options such as god rays and hbao+) , the cards will have to be in stressful conditions , the ROPs max-out and you will see the real side of both graphics and cards : glorious picture , stable card . or failed . you should buy a next-gen new flagship for the surrounding screens . 780ti is not matching the resolution you're using , it's fast but not balance.

A lot of the games above are using 4xMSAA, 8xMSAA (with 8xTRSSAA), and/or SSAA. I understand why vRAM limits would be an issue at 4k but lets also look at the fact that if someone wants to game on one 1080p or 1600p display for more than 2 years, 3-way or 4-way may not be a bad investment. At that point, a few generations of video cards have passed and then you can "feel" that upgrade with another 3-way or 4-way system al over again. I wouldn't say 4-way is a "wrong way", just depends on what you are looking for out of your system. BF4 does stutter a good bit at 5760x1600 with 4xMSAA due to vRAM. 2xMSAA is more acceptable in performance. I initially wasn't going to multi-monitor this system but I decided to for testing purposes. Now that Dell has announced some cheaper UHD monitors, it may be time to rethink aspects of the build. Titans may be an idea, but they are hard to come by these days it seems.

If you go 4k with Crysis 3 or BF4, the 4-way seems to scale well. Basically the games that didn't scale well were CPU bound games, or games that utilized PhysX.

You can use Afterburner as it has x64 support. Funny thing is, I installed Afterburner to see the fps in Titanfall, but then the free period ended. Went back to using Precision.... Now it shows me fps in my 64bit games... This is on a G19s keyboard LCD, didn't try the overlay.

bf4 results are flawed with frap. frap captures cpu fps. not gpu fps. as in how many frames the cpu is sending to the gpu. not how many frames the gpu is actually rendering. use perfoverlay.drawgraph 1 and translate the timeframes from GPU.

Hello clayton, thanks for sharing your tests results. I'm thinking about buying a third 780 ti classified into tri SLi for my surround TVs but I am little afraid that I have weak power supply for three cards with OCed CPU and GPUs.
