Looks like someone was able to do 4-way SLI with GTX 780's using 340.43. http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/8499894
 
Another guy using 335.23 approved driver. http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/8648673 August 25 2014.
 
Who made the new mod to allow it?
