I bought my gtx 660 off of amazon in 2014 and have had little to no issues. when i updated my drivers to the most recent version (368.39) my problems started. when playing any game at the recommended settings for my pc through geforce experience, after a short amount of time (around 30 to 40 minutes) the card full crashes. I seriously don't know what's happening to my card. please help, it's bringing my job to a halt.

Sounds like an issue with the new driver..Install an older driver again.

Grab NVIDIA Driver 362.00 and Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU).

Run DDU and select the "Safe Mode (Recommended)" Launch option.

After your PC restarts in Safe Mode, select the "Clean and restart (Highly Recommended)" option.

After your PC restarts normally again, perform a Custom (Advanced) install selecting only to install PhysX along with the Graphics Driver..You can install any of the other optional driver components anytime later.

    Roll from there.

Crashing still happens after following exactly what you instructed :/

I did some testing, and the crashing doesn't happen from overheating nor does the card reach its vram limit.

    Computer specs:
    CPU: AMD FX-6120 6-core processor
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 660 SUPERCLOCKED 2048MB GDDR5 DVI HDMI DP Graphics Card 02G-P4-2662-KR
    RAM: 10GB DDR3
    Power supply: EVGA 500 W1 80+, 500W Continuous Power, Power Supply 100-W1-0500-KR

I don't expect my specs to be useful but why not

Try doing #3/#4 listed here to see if it helps resolve your crashing.

So you say it all started when you updated to driver 368.39, huh?..That would make one think that it's certainly a driver issue, or just a coincidence and hardware is suddenly failing/overheating..What's the GPU and CPU temp getting up to anyway?..Some ppl have "claimed" in the past that driver updates/certain drivers have damaged/killed their card..If you remember what driver version you were using before that, uninstall 362.00 with DDU and try it again..You might try a System Restore back to the point prior to when you first installed 368.39 and try that..There does seem to be a lot of problems reported in the Official 368.39 Feedback Thread, but that goes with every driver..Are you getting a BSOD (what code?) or freezing, or restart, or the "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered" message?..You might try forcing the card's fan to 100% with Afterburner..You might try taking the side panel off of your case and pointing a house/room fan into it..You should also say what Mobo and OS you're running..Maybe your PC/coolers/heatsinks needs cleaning inside..More drastically, but not difficult, would be to create another Drive Partition for testing with a fresh OS install on it and a game or two if you have the free space and see what happens..Just a few thoughts here..If all else fails, yeah, contact EVGA Support about an RMA.

Just put the card another system and you will know if it's the card or your computer..
