Hello all, first time poster, long time EVGA fan and user :)

Never had an issue before but having one now. Had two 1080s for all of two days and one has developed an artifacting problem. At first I thought it was just from while I was trying to find a stable overclock and so reverted to stock. But the issue still persists and is most noticeable in gaming or video.  I managed to capture a video of said issue. Will I be able to RMA this card or does it void the warranty to do custom cooling? Nothing has been tampered with in any way and obviously I've never had any leaks. Obviously it goes without saying that I didn't go mental with voltages or reach an insane temperature with watercooling. Thanks in advance

EDIT: Just to add to the confusion, I tried DOWNclocking the troubled card from stock and the issue is gone....so stock clock is resulting in issues on this particular card now?

Within the first 30 days of purchase you can rma to get a brand new card. Custom cooling doesn't void the warranty unless you damaged the card while affixing the custom cooler.

I would also like to add that you will need to return the card in it's original factory state before sending it in for an RMA.

Thanks for the fast reply guys! Yes the card was not damaged in any way, I was happily gaming for the prior 2 days, as evidenced by my recent YouTube uploads :)

It was purchased from Scan co uk so I should take up the RMA through I would assume? I would also assume that they contact you and arrange all that. I've never had to return a card in 10+ years of building systems

I will do if they say no for some reason, but they're the best UK store for PC related parts and have very good policies. Plus they usually arrange and pay for a pick up of the RMA
