Hi, I just bought this card and I was playing with Precision X OC (6.0.9) and when I test the card for
Power limit it jump from 0 to 1. Does this mean the card is throttling ?
For voltage limits I get only 0 so far. Everything is set to all defaults.

Is this normal to get the 1 at the power limits monitoring graphics ?

I also tried the OSD and I cannot make it work with Valley from Unigine software. I also add the executable file to the list in the EVGA Precision server.
No success it doesn't show the GTX 1070 monitoring. Everything is enable in the parameters

Thanks

It is totally normal in load situations, i.e. if you play a game or run a benchmark - that's part of how GPU boost works. If you hit the power limit in idle situations then sth. might be wrong with your card.

I recommend reading the following articles if you don't know how GPU boost works:

It's possible the card could hit power limit = 1 at default settings. If you raise the power target to max does it still hit the power limit?

    Welcome to the forums.

As far as OSD is concerned, it should show up in Unigine Valley (does here, Win7/10)..Be aware that the list in the EVGA PrecisionX Server is an "ExcludeList", meaning that anything in the list is (or should be) excluded from On-Screen Display and On-Screen Display will not (or should not) show in anything in the list.

It's possible that the On-Screen Display is, in reality, there, but it is shown "off-screen" due to custom/differing resolutions..The OSD X (vertical) and/or OSD Y (horizontal) coordinates in the PrecisionX Server may need to be adjusted to compensate, I have had to do that before with some games (long time ago though)..You can change OSD X and OSD Y coordinates "on-the-fly", meaning you don't have to close applications/games to change the position, you can do it by running applications/games in "Windowed Mode" (not Full Screen)..If this is the case, you can change the coordinates by, say 100 or 200 at a time, and click "Set" until the OSD becomes visible and then fine-tune it from there..The downside is that OSD coordinates are global and apply to everything, so if you get OSD showing in one application/game, it might screw up the works for other stuff..Make sure FCAT Overlay is disabled in the OSD Settings, check resolution or try adjusting coordinates..It also might help to know what OS (Windows 7/8/10) you're running if you continue to have problems.
