Pressing the power button the first time results in a Post Code C. Unfortunately the manual makes no mention of this but thanks to Google I vaguely understand it's meaning. However if I press the power button directly after shutting down from the failed attempt my system boots fine. I have no explanation for it. If I figure it out I'll post back this is more a message for anyone else experiencing the same issue.

PS Keep in mind these components all ran fine until a failed BIOS update on my old motherboard caused it to become useless to me. Therefore I have some basis to suspect the motherboard is causing the problem.

Well nothing I tried worked. I can make a Post Code C by powering it on, then off, then on. I can boot it into Windows but if I ever shut it down and try powering it on again it results in a Post Code C. No idea what to do may RMA it but I have a feeling the motherboard is just incompatible someway with my PSU (Antec High Current Pro 750 Platinum). Strange.

Keeping in mind the components I'm using were running fine a week ago using another motherboard that failed its BIOS update forcing me to buy a new motherboard.

I happened to Google myself into a report just like mine from way back on the z68 chipset. On this foum sadly Warer on Post 14 seems to be describing my exact problem. To bad he doesn't mention if he fixed it. I think I'm going to RMA my board and try seeing if that fixes it.
