I compared cable lengths with my current PSU and the ones on the EVGA are a tiny bit longer.  My dilemma is that the placement of the 24 pin and 8 pin coming from SuperNova are absorbing that extra length and coming up too short to make comfortable connections.  Is there a way to request or purchase longer cables for the EVGA SuperNova T2 1000w ???  Can EVGA custom make 24 & 8 pin cables?

Thanks

I use sleeved extensions for the power cables in some of my larger cases:

I also used sleeved extensions. If I dont make my own I have used cablemods, silverstone and ensourced. Ensourced are by far the best in my opinion. The quality of the cables and combs are outstanding and you can specify which way you are going to bend them. Silverstone are great too but only come in a few sizes and colors and they are getting hard to find. I think SS may have discontinued the manufacture of them but you can still find them cheap on amazon. Cable mods are pretty crappy quality and very thin wire and sleeves. I have also had cables missing from my order and had to get customer support to reship. They ship from Hong Kong so it is about a two week lead time. If you can afford them go with Ensourced.

Oh these 3 are all of the heatshrinkless variety. I prefer that look.

you can see the cable mods in my profile picture. They are junk and dont train well either because of the thin gauge wire. I ripped them out already and replaced them.

Actually I got them to work, but that sucks to hear you guys can't make custom sized cables.

Question though.  I have a GTX 670 with 2 6 pin connectors.  Would it be better to use two VGA connectors or one VGA connector with a split 6 pin?

    Thanks again, fine folks :)

I prefer to use two independant cables for power rather than one with a split off extra connector. I think it looks cleaner myself.

Got a question about the PSU and the EVGA 760 A1 X58 board, but I'm going to head over to the motherboard section.  I don't remember the "E" on the NB heatsink flashing when I turned my machine off

There could be some lighting options in your BIOS. I know mine has some but I'm not familiar at all with the model you are using. It might be worth a look if nobody else has a definite answer.

Once you replace something especially something as important as a PSU you start to notice every little thing that you never knew existed. It was the lighted trace for my audio circuit that got my attention first and it drove me nuts until I found the setting in my BIOS. BTW, I am loving my SuperNOVA 1300 G2. It is totally awesome and the cables are so flexible I can finally do some professional looking cable management holding them in place with some zip ties without giving myself a hernia. My cables on the old Silencer Mk III 1200 watt were so stiff I had to wrestle with them for hours just to get them close to where I wanted them. I was nervous about getting an EVGA PSU at first but my anxiety was short lived and I now have total confidence in this PSU.
