I tried searching a little . I guess I'm just lazy.

Is there any reason to have precision if I could care less about OCing, adjusting fan speed manually, and looking at my temps/gpu usage?
My main question is, will my GPU automatically adjust fan speed without software? I'm trying to pin point some game stuttering issues and reduce any CPU/Mem usage. I have read that precision and afterburner utilities can have a possible impact on some games.

Thanks again in advance.

The card will run around the 80C range all the time when under load without a custom fan curve setup inside precision.

Precision X is completely optional and is not at all required to run any EVGA or Nvidia video card. There should be no concerns or worries running the card with stock settings.
