Precision/Afterburner should only show the min/max vram being used at the current time. Not the full amount.

Are you sure you're not mixing up memory clock (mhz) with memory usage (mb)? I've seen my memory usage (mb) go over 6GB on my Titan X's using afterburner.

Go to Settings -> Monitoring -> Memory usage and set the Maximum limit to 6144MB (6GB) or higher..Is that what you're talking about?..If not, then yes, a screen cap might help.

Mine is set to default value of 3072. Still shows over 3GB if the gpu is using more than 3GB.

I see what you were talking about. Setting that value higher doesn't really do anything. You can set it to 40,000 and it'll show 40,000 on the hardware monitor. I always just pay attention to the min/max values.
