My 780 overheated, started smoking then died. I have another one and that one is workring just fine and I have a huge case (Coolermaster Striker) with no other cooling issues.

It wasn't making noise or anything just working fine till I started smelling smoke, look down at my computer and saw a little puff of smoke, and it shut itself off. After I took the card out everything worked fine. Also the card that died was on the top with only a 2 SLI setup.

Click on 'Member Home' at the top of the page and select 'My Products'. Find the serial number of the defective board and apply for an RMA.

oh yeah I know that, but I need a support number first or I would have went straight to doing an RMA, and wasn't sure how to go about doing that, and posting here about my card issue worked before. :)

Submit an RMA.. That is how you get the RMA lol. You don't have to post in the forum for that part.

Support will occasionally drop by and see your thread and email you, but it is much quick to go to your products and start the RMA there.

You can also go to the support tab and submit an RMA through that section as well.
