- I am very confused. I have an Intel i5 4690 + EVGA GTS 450 + Cooler Master 550w + Gigabyte Gaming 3 H97 . Turning on the computer from the video card shows image and let me install the drivers correctly. But then, having already installed the drivers, the computer starts normally until it says "Windows is starting." When should show the desktop, then my screen becomes black as if he were showing image and restarts. Since you do if someone could help me I would greatly appreciate. I have Windows 7 x64.

#1 Make sure your motherboard bios is completely up to date.

#2 Use ddu to remove your gpu drivers in safe mode.

#3 Perform a clean installation of video drivers.
    1. Uninstall Precision X/Afterburner if installed, make sure to select "no" to saving profiles if asked.  Reboot the PC now if you had to uninstall PX or Afterburner.
    2. Download & save graphics driver 347.88 to your desktop. Run the graphics installer located on your desktop once the download is complete.
    3. Select custom advanced install, under custom installation options uncheck all options except the physx system software, if you have a 3D capable monitor and would like to use 3D at some point please select both 3D options, check mark perform clean install, then click next to install the driver, reboot when asked.

Thanks for the quick answer Sajin. I've made everything as you said but the problem persists.

No problem. Card is most likely defective. Test card in another system to verify before rma'ing.

    - Thank you very much, you were very helpful. Finally it was that there had disabled the onboard graphics and generated conflict. Give me your home address to send you chocolates.

So you had to disable the integrated graphics to fix the issue? The integrated graphics should have been automatically disabled with the dedicated gpu installed inside the computer.

Not necessarily. Older motherboards might require a manual disabling of the integrated graphics in the BIOs.
