My son built his first custom build in early April. It operated great for a couple weeks and then started to intermittently shut down. From then on it would always shut down after 10-20 minutes of operation. We originally suspected a thermal failure but couldn’t find any evidence. After several days of trouble shooting and talking with EVGA support (very helpful) I took it to a local computer shop. They had it for a couple weeks and then concluded it was the motherboard. EVGA sent us a new one and we installed it last night, only to have the same exact problem.
No error code on the LED, we monitored BIOS health and no indications of heat up or voltage instability, it can take up to a few hours before it can be turned back on.
Has anyone else had similar issues? Any recommended troubleshooting?
