Helpful ReplyGTX 980 SC Removable Plate.

If I am running a 2-way SPACED SLI setup, should I bother removing the plates on the cards as shown in the image above? Or is that only really recommended for a 3-way SLI setup? Thanks :)
 
P.S. These cards have been running amazingly so far! Very impressed ! =D

No need to remove the plates. You would only have to remove the plates when the cards are stacked right on top of each other.

I can concur that you only need to remove the extra plate if the cards are next to each other.
