I just built a new system with the X99 Classified.  I like the board but I'm running into an issue.

After exiting out of a game onto the desktop, my computer will crash within 30 seconds to a blue screen error: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR and reboot.  I have no issues while actually in a game though.  After swamping out different components I've narrowed the issue to my GTX690 card-  I've put in my older GTX590 card and don't seem to be having any issues after several hours (but as soon as I put back in the GTX690 the issue came back within minutes).   The GTX690 works fine though on another system of mine so it doesn't appear to be a hardware issue.  Anyone else running this board with a GTX690 or have any ideas?

My Specs (Not Overclocked and CPU not running above 58c while in-game):
X99 Classified with 5960x
16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2800
SoundBlaster ZxR (Latest Drivers)
EVGA GTX690 (Latest Drivers)
Windows 8.1 64bit (Fully updated)

That is strange.  Verify the MoBo BIOS and the video card firmware is up to date.  I had to manually switch the PCIe slot for my sound card to Gen2 (known problem) for it to function properly (SoundBlaster Z).  Maybe the sound card is causing the problem in conjunction with the GTX690.  It might be worth your time to try this out.

Yeah, very strange. I have the latest BIOS 1.06 for the motherboard.  I did try switching the PCIe on the sound card to Gen 2 but that didn't help.  I actually also removed the Sound Blaster ZxR (and its drivers) from my system altogether and tried using the on-board audio but the crash still happens (I even disabled the onboard audio and tried with no sound at all... but still no luck).

This is almost the exact issue I am having with my AMD 280x. I was getting the bluescreens everytime I launched Diablo III. Updating the firmware for the card helped, but setting the PCIE slot the video card is in to PCIE Gen 2 seems to have stabilized the system for me. Try setting the slot the video card is in to PCIE Gen 2 and see if it levels out.

I have a thread going for my problem with a debug log of the error if anyone from EVGA is interested.

Thanks nainkaigo-  setting my video card PCI-E to Gen 2 seems to have worked-  haven't crashed all day since making the change!

Having to run Gen2 on a X99 board is ridiculous.
