Oh, you guys are talking about MB blocks.  I think they are nice for looks but as performance goes, they aren't needed at all as all they do is impede the flows performance.  Ram and MB cooling adds lots of restriction to the loop and really doesn't do much.  If you're doing something close to LN2 OCing than I can see why you would need liquid cooling for those components otherwise its a waste.   CPU and GPU cooling is where its at.

Last I measured, the temperature of the VRM heatsink was 65C, and that was at the top of the heatsink so the base was probably even hotter.  The last board I had WC on the VRMs was the ASRock Z77 OC Formula and the voltages were much more stable when they were kept cold.

Most quality VRMs can handle heat from 100c+ up to around 150c.  65c isn't much.  Like I said, good air flow will take care of any issues.  In today's modern age, we have way better VRMs/Mosfets than in the past on quality boards.  Water cooling those isn't needed.  For those that tell you this have no clue or haven't done enough research.  Most water cool them for looks.

4 loops is a complete waste of money.   A loop needs at least 1 rad to be called a loop.  Honestly I'm questioning whether you're even serious or you're just trolling.

well all depins on how hard u plan to push thing in overclocking if i had no plans to push thing thin i would only do 2 loops but i will get too 35k on benchmark or melt it down lol so need good cooling maybe overkill but i can speed wate it takes to do ln2 so i had to find a dif way . i allso have a ac that i am building ducks to blow into rad thin out back to ac to recool like rec on a car to chang inlet air temp fron 70deg's down to 40 degs to even cool more . so kind of what u want to do with it .and for me its not blig i'm after i wont the fast's none ln2 computer built. so for my way of thinking not so much becouse wow hunter i can clock the vid and ram and cpu even higher than i do but can't keep them under 90 to 95c temp is the only thing stoping me from going higher now i can only get wow hun ter to allmost 28k firestrik and allmost 30k on mark11. so need to kool it down somemore if u know away outher than wate me and joe at frozon cpu could figer out to do it please let me know.

So you're doing this mainly for benchmarking.  Ok but be aware when adding a AC unit in the mix will mostly cause some condensation to your loop.  Don't want that beautiful expensive hardware getting wet.  You won't get close to LN2 benchmarks but will do well under watercooling.  You will never go under ambient temp with water cooling and ambient temp can play a huge roll as well.  Might have said go with a chiller but that's a whole other beast. :P

GL with your build and keep us posted.

Sigh...if I would have bought the RIVE I wouldn't have this problem, but the Classy has better warranty support.  Why can't we get a hydro-copper version of a mobo, especially the flagship one?

The setup I'm using right now for my watercooling could easily be scaled up to handle well over 2000W of heat load.  The problems presented are a) space and b) cost.  a) because my setup occupies about 20 sq ft total and requires a specific room layout and b) cost probably $3k to get it where it is right now.  You should probably just start off with a regular configuration with 1 loop for the cpu and VRMs and another loop for the graphics cards.  2 pumps, 1 RX480 for the CPU loop, 2 RX480s for the GPU loop, fans, blocks, fittings, tubing, etc.  The difference between a high end custom loop and my configuration is mainly in terms of noise.  I wanted dead silence in my home office.

Tried to tell you they wouldn't make them, lol.

http://forums.evga.com/EVGA-X99-Waterblock-CLASSY-FTW-MICRO-m2211860.aspx that is where you need to be looking, like I stated earlier in this thread.  nateman makes premium stuff at home.  The only problem: he is overloaded with everyone wanting his custom made blocks. Get on the Classified waiting list if you really want one.

With the price drop of the classified on Amazon, I will probably end up picking up the board.

I have two evga 680s SLI
I can't have PCIE 3.0 enabled in the bios without hard crashing while gaming.  I can only game with PCIE 2.0 settings in the bios.  Any thoughts?

Seems like a few folks are having issues with their PCI-E 3.0.  I am sure they are working on a fix for it.  If you think about it for now, PCI-E 2.0 x16 is the equivalent of PCI-E 3.0 @ 8x from what I have read and the tests/benchmarks that were done.  You're not going to gain anything noticeable for the time being in general unless you're running very high resolution (surround) with the use of high Vram usage from my understanding.

Both my cards are working in PCI-e 3.0 just fine:

screen shot on pc

2 of my other slots are populated with a sound card and a wifi/bt card so thus x8 and not x16.  The 1.1 is because it's throttled back (if I run a benchmark it goes to 3.0).  I didn't change any PCI setting in the BIOS.  This is plug and play results.

My 4.4 ghz 5930k overclock is no longer stable after moving from 1.07 to 1.09. Very frustrating :/ I get system freezes now

I can't get past 4.2 with 1.09.  Had to switch back to 1.06
