Hi! I have a gtx 980 ti sc  the one with blower on it any way. when I first pluged it in I started the precidion X  and then starded Heaven BM to see what the score was right out of bow. but for soom reseen after 3 to 4 mins in Heaven it droped the boost and went to base numbers temps were close to 90 and the power drew was 98.2-99.6 with out me doing any thing to the card at all. my Q is isee that turning the fan curve up will help the temp even thow the room I'm in is very cool but. the power drew right out of box hitting 99.6 WFT, and Y. not shor but if I was to oc it at all I'd have to turn the power up to 110% ?    . PS I did try it one time with power to 110% fan set to 70%  and tried a offset on core for 50hz and when I started the Heaven BM it crashed pc and had to reboot. plz comment   nicely thanks.

What temperature was your card at when you saw it drop the boost?

90c is pretty hot. Reapply the thermal paste on the card if you can & increase the fan speed. Getting the temps down & increasing the power target should help get rid of the throttling. If your system rebooted by itself while running the benchmark your psu has a problem.
