should have been, yeah, and I think under normal circumstances it should be. but even my 600w couldn't deliver enough power to the card at certain parts of certain games... i'm sure for those rare/few instances, a PSU with much greater wattage is needed

*nevermind the GPU is still crashing with the 850W... lasted a good day without crashing too. time to return.

Hi there.

I have the same problem but i'm not even running a game and it crashes. As i reinstalled Windows because the problem persisted, I need to install the drivers and software again but that doesn't even work without crashing. I have HX850i Corsair PSU.

Here is the crash log:

The OP Fix was a Bios Update "Edit: A BIOS Update fixed my problem, will update on status if problem comes back."

I to am suffering from complete lock-ups while playing Battlefield 4 with max settings. I'm torn between buying another power supply or RMA'n the card for a bad bin. I have a RAIDMAX 700AC power supply that has been rock solid for about 2 years now and easily handled my Asus GTX 760 that I had in before I did the upgraded. My issue is that I also replaced my motherboard and upgraded a hard drive when I upgraded the video card and they might be drawing more power than my previous configuration. I believe the power supply is still providing the power it is suppose to, so my question is, is it possible that the two 25 amp 12 volt rails are now being overwhelmed when deep into a BF4 game?
