I just got the SLI setup up and running yesterday. I haven't been able to get DSR to work. I have 2560x1440 monitor (will soon be replaced with 4k) and I've used 2.25 DSR factor to test how thing behave at 4k resolution. And with just one EVGA GTX 1080 FTW SLI this (and also other factors) this has worked. But now after adding second card and linking them with EVGA SLI HB bridge I wont seen to get DSR to work. Eg. with Call Of Duty Ghost behaviour is such that display just go blank after I change resolution from 2560x1440 to 3840x2160. Same thing with Enemy Front. Edit: I'm using 372.90 drivers. Edit2: And OS is Windows 7 Pro 64bit. Edit3: Motherboard is Super Micro X10DAX with two E5-2660v3 Xeon's installed and 1st card is connected to CPU1 x16 slot and second to CPU2 x16 slot. Another issue with the SLI is that when I boot up the computer I don't see the "starting windows" thing but rather screen stays blank until desktop is started.

I have my 1080 FTW connected via Displayport and my also stays blank until windows boots. No sli.

I have the first card connected to monitor also with DisplayPort but with only one card installed I see the "starting windows" thing when booting up. With two cards the screen goes blank right after I select "Windows 7" from the Ubuntu boot menu. If I boot Ubuntu that doesn't happen.

Ok, so far I've found out that setting "enable above 4G encoding" in BIOS disables Windows to show anything when booting.

After disabling Intel Thunderbolt and BIOS hotplug support I was able to disable the above 4G encoding and now Windows startup screen does show up with both graphics cards installed.

Wow. This still might be a driver bug from way back when.. I believe I remember reading dsr don't work with sli. Can't remember the exact deal but it might be with g-sync enabled or something. Believe I've read about it on hardforums.
Might wana search for it there or Google it.

Wow. This still might be a driver bug from way back when.. I believe I remember reading dsr don't work with sli. Can't remember the exact deal but it might be with g-sync enabled or something. Believe I've read about it on hardforums.
Might wana search for it there or Google it.
DSR works fine with SLI & G-Sync.

I used the "Perform a clean installation" option of NVIDIA Graphics Driver 372.90 installer. Based on "System information" / "Components" from NVIDIA Control Panel, every file listed there seems to be the correct version. SLI works otherwise fine but when trying to use DSR I get blank screen.

Try DDU Nvidia driver Uninstaller encase something left over is conflicting?
Wish I could test this out to help you but I'm still building the new pc.. just gots slap the cpu on the mb,add the cpu water block and addo a few extra rubber stand offs to the backside of the motherboard to support the weight of heavy water blocked 1080 classifieds and water lines.. :/ gona be another 2 days I bet after testing for leaks and get everything up and runing.
Hopefully you get this figured out by then.

Oh and yes there's still stuff leftover if you don't use DDU. I've shaped drivers a lot lately when testing different 1080 cards and always windows would load up some Nvidia drivers on the first boot after the normal add remove driver method. Only thing that works is to use DDU.
I use the method of Uninstaller in safe mode.

I did the DDU thing in safe mode then rebooted and installed 372.90 and the behavior when trying to use DSR is exactly the same.
I'll try some older driver version to see what happens.

Try the 368 drivers. I think they did some major changes starting at the 370 drivers.

Exactly the same thing with 368.81. This "blank screen" of mine, well it's not completely blank, I can see normal Windows arrow cursor and move it around. Pressing "Windows" key have no effect but then CTRL-ALT-DELETE hangs the cursor and after that I have to do hard reset.

I found someone with exactly the same symptoms under Windows 10: Though I haven't had any updated since 17th of August and DSR works with single card.

I've now tried drivers 368.25, 368.39, 368.81, 372.54 and 372.90. Same thing happens with all of them.

Hmm. I wonder if it has something to do with your motherboard? You might want to contact nvidia to see what they have to say. Do both cards run dsr fine by themselves?

Both cards run DSR fine when using only one card. And I have pretty high quality dual Xeon motherboard that has SLI support: www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/xeon/c600/x10dax.cfm

I'd contact them first by email and see what's up before all that. Atleast reach out to others and see if they got it working with sli. As someone else said it would be easier to just grab a 4k monitor. You would still want 1080 sli with a 4k monitor over a single titan.

As someone else said it would be easier to just grab a 4k monitor. You would still want 1080 sli with a 4k monitor over a single titan.
It is in my plans to get 4k monitor later this year. I have some games that have no support for AA but I can run them at 5k DSR resolution even with single card and the image quality is excellent @60FPS+ . Trying to force 4x AA from NVIDIA control panel works but it gives much lover FPS than using 5k DSR.

Got the new system up and running finally!
DSR so far is working perfectly for me in witcher 3. RUning DSR at 2x on my 2560x1440 asus 27" rog swift monitor. Screen res selected in the game is 3620x2036. Runs at 58-64 fps as I ran around for a few mins. Everything maxed and turned on. runs at 90+ fps at 2560x1440.
This is with 1080 classified SLI with evgas new HB bridge.
Going to test doom now and see.. oh I forgot that I was using DSR with SLI also in BF4 before. :/

I'm using Windows 10 Pro 64bit. Just tried DOOM and no prob there either.. though was a bit too slow for me in the 50s. Prob have some settings set too high that I don't need at 4k. 2k the frame rate runs at 140-160+. though the game don't use SLI.
