I've received no notification. And yet had to purchase a 1080 from the Egg.
I'm wondering, as I really wanted to buy a new card from EVGA why this is?
My reasoning was that if I bought it from EVGA registration would be easier.
And yet I have to go to another website to purchase a product from EVGA?
I'm not trying to condemn but trying to understand why EVGA would not give
loyal customers first chance at their products
Just wondering Gattlin

I understand your frustration. The 'Auto Notify' system is deeply flawed. On the other hand, after shopping around I often find better prices and promotions at other places like NewEgg.

Probably comes down to contracts between the parties.

If EVGA has delivery issues, they need to ship to whomever is at the top of the pecking order.

After all, EVGA would make a larger profit by retailing.  But shipping hundreds to one customer, well that has advantages also.

It would be nice if you could qualify for premium placement in the queue; say, based on owning a certain number of high-end GPUs

Auto-Notify is flawed and useless at many other sites. IDK if you can click it more than once here or not but I had constantly clicked Auto-Notify at NCIX and FrozenCPU for something I really wanted and needed and always checked for inventory anyway since I never got any notifications. Constantly checking finally paid off and I got my EK waterblock from NCIX because I found it in stock but still never got any kind of email about its availability.

Make sure that if you were ever notified that a product has come on sale, but that the product has sold out once you reached the page, that you re-sign up for the 'Auto-Notify' as the system will only keep the email addresses for a single round of notifications

...an untrammeled flow of words in an open forum.

That makes sense or you would still be getting email alerts long after your funeral and we wouldn't want that, would we? Still, I have never received any emails from any sites when I used their Auto-Notify.

Got to type in YOUR e-mail address correctly first, maybe that keyboard has been sticking longer than you think

That's a possibility. I got a few double-Zs yesterday. Spend some time fixing a few switches and now they're all wanting attention from me.

I think they sell out faster than the auto-notify detects product is in stock.
