It's pretty awesome that ACX coolers are already more efficient in every notable way, and yet EVGA has stepped up its game again, despite no real competition, just to deliver more performance to end users, in the form of ACX 2.0.

I love the minimalistic looks of these cards. My 770 SC ACX looks gorgeous in my windowed rig. A 970 FTW would be even better.

would love to be able to give this to my son ,im building his first PC (he is 11 and already doing power-points and writing some code ) He loves to game ....on his dads PC :( My 680FTW will serve me fine for a bit longer .Plus the ACXV2 will be great for the case im picking out .Quiet but cool !! good luck to all

Yes, it's a great time for their ACX line of coolers to Evolve, Because with Maxwell being a cooler running chip than prior generations, add on top of that EVGA's improved cooling, That gives you A LOT of head room for overclocking. Even if you don't want to Overclock, you can comfortably games for hours on in, without having to worry in the back of your mind, if you're starting to make Toast inside your case do to your graphics card. Paired together with the reasonable prices on the GM204 chip, and improved cooling solution, EVGA's Stellar customer support... Right now is a very exciting time for enthusiast/gamers/Anyone looking for a nice upgrade. Add to all that, We have a New Intel Chipset, DDR4 releasing, New Versions of PrecisionX and OC Scanner X have just released.....And This Promotion, and all the other promotions EVGA has put on lately. I would fair to say, this is THE MOST excited i've been in my PC Gaming Life. Now we just need some good Game Releases and we are set Ladies and Gentlemen!!

I'm so excited for the new 900 series! I'm still running my EVGA GTX 560, which was a great card, but it's time for an upgrade! And where I live, ACX cooling is a necessity. I'm sure hoping that it beats the temps I get on my 560. It runs rather warm on idle, probably because I use a dual monitor setup. I have high hopes for Nvidia and EVGA with their upcoming products. Keep up good work, EVGA!!

Oh good now i know where to post. (thanks for a quick response) im really blown away by the new acx 2.0 i mean the power of the new cooler is amazing. 250% Lower fan power means a much higher overclock than before( didnt even know fan power was included in overclocking abilities.), 26% cooler so now my card can overclock higher and last longer, 36% quieter means no more excessive fan noise, plus a whooping 400% INCREASE IN LIFE SPAN which means i'll enjoy the winter all year long.

Sweet, I like the 2.0 however I have quite the stack of coolers in my closet because they get in the way of my waterblocks :-)

I'm still on an ancient GTX 260. Gets the job done for Dota but definitely looking forward for the release of the 970 FTWs and reviews.
Should be a great improvement in performance to go along with the power efficiency versus what I have now.

Screw other manufacturers, It looks like their engineers/designers got the idea designing their GPUs after having a marathon of Transformers or any inter galactic movies. EVGA is my one and only trusted brand. I love the simplicity and performance of EVGA GPU cards. Nothing beats their warranty program. Starting from EVGA GTX 560 Ti then now having a EVGA GTX 760 ACX SC, I have no problem at all. Looking forward for EVGA GTX 970 SC ACX 2.0. Win or lose, I gonna buy one for sure. #RespectEVGA #EVGA9CoolDaysOfACX2

I've had two 780Ti:SC:ACX's and two Titan Black that I've added ACX's to. I've had great results in the first generation and I'm looking forward to seeing what the ACX 2 will do! I guess there's no chance of fitting one on my SuperNOVA, hahaha.

ACX 2.0 is really great for the 980 since the vapor chamber-based blower cooler is no longer the reference design (yeah, yeah, I know the TDP is greatly reduced, and it's already priced aggressively, but for an X80 card, we kind of expect the fancy bells and whistles; the backplate looks gorgeous though, it's a shame it's an extra for EVGA cards though)
