I literally just received an email auto notification from EVGA informing me that the EVGA GT 970 FTW was available for purchase, I immediately opened up my computer and it didn't show any for sale. Then I clicked on the link in the email which should've directed me to the product but instead, shows a 403 forbidden page.... what is going on?

If you're looking to purchase a 970 it would be best to just F5 the page all day long then to rely on auto notify.

Sadly it did work. Luckily I was at my work desk when my phone alerted me to the email. I had the page open every day since the cards released. Hit refresh and then saw it. I got one! So happy! I'll lose it if I win a card as well with this luck. It sold out once I checked out. Website slowed down too so everyone was right on it

Considering the cards released on the 19th...it's not that bad of a wait.

Well I meant in general for ALL the cards... as in everyone else still waiting for cards to purchase, step-ups etc.....

Yeah, I'm glad I have a job that puts me in front of an internet connected computer all day. I just have an auto-refresh plugin on my browser, and I leave it on the product page and have it refresh every minute or so, and leave the window on one of my monitors in sight all day.

Is it really going to be another month until another batch comes out? or is there a chance there could be a batch in the next week or so? Because I don't have a graphics card for my pc yet.. may just get a 760 SC and do the step up when the 970FTW is more available. Thoughts?

Hes throwing out a random time frame to show his distaste. Just like EVGA reps have posted before, they probably cannot give you an accurate ETA. If you need a card now..buy one and then use the step-up..or switch to a different brand.
