LOL - Apparently, this monitor is more controversial than many of us imagined.

I look at it this way.  If you I had two identical monitors to choose from with the swift's specs and features, one being a TN and the other an IPS, only then would I choose the IPS panel for better color reproduction.
But until IPS panels have the same features and specs as the swift's TN panel, it's a no brainer for me.

I have an IPS as my 2nd monitor... and as Linus says, if you want the best gaming monitor on the market that won't be competed against for 6+ months get this... IPS won't be on the level of this TN for 3 years at this rate. I have no idea why someone with 19k posts would come into this topic to sound so ignorant saying IPS is as good if not better than TN, then when its argued fall back on the i was comparing value... no one in here cares about value, we want the best. It's not only the refresh rate that's a problem with IPS, it's the shades of black in games. and if you pull the but you get better viewing angles with an IPS who do you know who doesn't have your monitors pointed directly at you? lol

IPS having worse blacks is such a dated belief, this aspect has improved greatly since S-IPS and is no longer a concern with newer Samsung PLS and LG AH-IPS.  100-120 Hz isn't exactly problematic either. Talk about ignorance.  Oh wait, but Linus didn't say this so it isn't true!

Not any more than some of your posts, including this one, or the one I was quoting.  Where's that common sense you mentioned?

I see a pattern here...

Anyway, for those folks that have used g-sync, are there any issues with SLI?

The swift will be my first Gsync monitor. Never even seen the tech in real-time before.
Got a system with dual Titan Blacks, I'd be mad if Gsync had problems with SLI!!

We have them in the office now and boy oh boy... I honestly didn't know how much of a difference it would be playing on one, I still plan on replacing my Dell U30 with one and I will be a happy camper.

Gsync in SLI works fine for me. Looking forward to the swift. I haven't had Gsync on my SLI rig since I bought the monitor back in january.

Get the Ultrawide.  I played on it at NCIX and it made me forget all about the 4k monitor that was next to it.  Ultrawide is amazing.
