So far, according to the recent posts here, I think the only people to make it past pending are those who entered the queue before 9 am PST.

Better wait a while as AMD will release next week and more user experiences will be gathered about 980 Ti ACX 2.0+.

Ugh, I'm the idiot who didn't decide to step up his card until freakin' June 9th.  It'll probably be a month before mine is ready.  Doh!

I feel ya... This is my first time using the step-up program, plus I wasn't too sure I wanted to since I'm coming from 2 970's due to the price I'd ultimately be paying for 2 980ti's..  Unfortunately, power won out over me and I stepped up on June 3rd at 4pm CST..  Hopefully the wait will only be a few more weeks, but we shall see :)  Here's to patiently waiting for my beasts.

That is about the time I didn't mine.  I have seen on reddit people around 10 am June first have sent theirs in so we should be soon.

Gosh in this speed each sign-up date would take more than a week to make it to the start of the queue. let's hope the wait time is not linear.

Yeah, I submitted mine 06/01/2015 at 1:51 pm and still pending.  I Maybe I'll get to the first step in a couple of months.  By that time I'll probably have given up and just bought one.

Re: Anyone make the queue? 980 TI step-up 2015/06/12 11:43:19 (permalink)
So as i already said a few pages ago, i was able to complete the queue 2 days ago and paid directly after that. However now there is something weird going on.

I haven't received the step4 email yet but i checked the step up status on my account today and it says that the payment is completed and verified. I was even able to check the pdf with the shipping info for a while or resent the pdf as email. I naturally clicked both buttons but have still not received the email as of now. Furthermore, now the button is gone again.

Anyone else had this or knows what's going on? I wanted to sent the card on it's way tomorrow but as it is now it seems i will have to wait until next week.

I'd imagine that the VAST majority of Step Up entries came in the first 24 hours after the release of the 980Ti.  I'm confident that the queue will really speed up after that.

So I have never stepped up before.  I know the rules, etc.  As long as I step up prior to the 90 days I am good right?  If I get a pending I am still good since I initiated it prior to the 90 days.  Once it goes from pending I need to send in my card so that means that I will be without a card for a few days waiting on the new card, right?

Wow I did mine around noon and my step up id is 8962685 crap. That sounds like a long wait based on the numbers. The difference of over 6 mil in the id number is huge.

I submitted my Step-Up request the first day (6/1/2015 12:03:00 PM Step-Up ID: 124____) and have heard nothing yet. I'm sure with the excitement of receiving a new GPU there are many who don't take the time to post here... OR, they just aren't aware of this thread.
My 980 FTW has the same freezing issue that many others have mentioned in other threads. For myself, I'm much more interested in stability at this point than having a more powerful GPU. BUT!!!...I sure think it would be great to have both. I'll report back to this thread as soon as there is any change in my status just so others have some sort of idea of how swiftly this is going to go...
Hope it goes quickly for everyone!

@jmilone1  Just an addition.... My Step-Up # is 1241143 . (I wasn't sure I should post it but what the heck!) I don't think the number itself is actually how many people have requested a Step-Up... because we seem to be very close to the same time for our submissions, and that is a VERY large difference in our numbers. Hopefully it's an a clock basis (when we submitted) and the numbers we have been given are generated in some other way. I'd love to know for sure...

I believe they're random. I stepped up 2 cards and my step up #'s are 6 million apart. And my time between step ups were 1 minute.

Oh nice so even though I went for the ground shipping option I should be getting quick since I'm in the bay area.

I don't think anyone with a 6/2 submission date has past the first step. They're not even done with the 6/1 submissions, I did mine at 9:30 AM and still on pending.
