I never got a 50% off coupon. Like an idiot I had the box unchecked that allowed EVGA to email me promotions and what not. So I checked the box in my profile and contacted their customer service. Hopefully I'll get it.

Have you tried adding a PS or mouse to the cart and going through the checkout process to see if you do have one. Mine was auto applied to my account and shows up just before you finalize payment.

Just tried. No discount.

Joined the queue at 6/15. I am still at step one. Looks like it generally takes about a month to step up to a 980 ti.

We've reached somewhere around 6/6 on the queue so far. I'd guess you'll be waiting at least another 3 weeks or so before you move on to step 2.

Processed my step-up on 6-9 at about 8am. Still on step 1 but as soon as I hit step 2 I will let you all know so that we can keep on eye on the queue. I'm guessing somewhere around the 20th Ill get there, so I guess we will see how close I come to being right lol!!

On a side note, what did people not like about the 980 FTW? Thats my current model and I love it. I'm only running a 50MHZ core OC and 100MHZ memory OC, but it stays at a nice 29C idle, and maxes at about 68C under full load. I really cant wait on the performance increase I'm seeing with the Ti models, but this card was one heck of a nice upgrade from my 680 Signature SC+ lol.

Many of the GTX980 FTW cards that people are stepping up from have serious issues.  Driver crashes, BSOD, and sometimes the card seems to lose power to the point where it causes the motherboard to not detect a card in the PCI-e slot.  When that happens the screen just goes black.  Sometimes you can get it recover on a hard reset, other times your system would need to sit for a while until the power draws down.  One time I needed to actually disconnect the power supply to get it to recover.

It's awesome that you were able to experience the card as it was intended.  I for one am envious, both of your working FTW and you are 5 days ahead of me on the step up list.

I actually had a ftw sli'd with an sc and every now and then the ftw lost all power. Other than that when the card worked it was fine.

Like you, when my card worked it was great too.  It's not about the FTW performance.  On that front it gets 5 out of 5 stars.  Reliability is the issue.  For me anyway, when it comes to reliability, it scores a big zero.

Damn EVGA..Still in holding pattern to pay after making queue yesterday. Kinda stupid for verification since the card I'm sending them is the same one they sent me 4 weeks ago for an RMA replacement.

This is very true, I had a GTX980 FTW with all these problems.

Completed my step-up and I've been using my GTX980 TI for about a week with 0 issues. Glad to have been able to wipe my hands of that mess.

Stepped up my 980 FTW like two days ago. It's times like these I'm glad I live 10 minutes away from brea California. Maybe I shouldn't have opted for next day shipping...

I did not choose next day shipping, but I opted to pay extra to get the FTW to EVGA faster and would you know it, the one time I chose an expedited shipping method I get a severe weather alert that's near UPS' main hub in Kentucky and may cause a delay.  Hopefully, my shipment is not delayed, but I won't hold my breath.
