Posted on the main forum, but I will place the link here for reference.
 
tl;dr: the DDR3 2400 16GB (2 sticks of 8) XMP profile doesn't match specs.
 
Specs: 11-13-13-31
XMP: 11-13-13-35-2
 
This seemly confuses my motherboard, at every reboot the performance changes, seemly crazy changes to secondary timings.

Still, ignoring that issue, great product, even when buggy it still has awesome performance.

Microcenter now will sell EVGA memory and ship it to you. When I bought some last month it was in-store only.

Seems microcenter no longer carries EVGA RAM now. all pages 404.

No DDR3 on-line though. Why are they available in-store but not on-line?

Just buy G.Skill or another top brand.  Most of the memory is made by the same manufacturer, companies just slap a sticker and different heat sink on them.

Yeah I see that but you can't purchase online. I constantly get kicked off saying "Your shopping cart has been cleared because we were unable to process the order. Please resubmit your order with another form of payment. Click here to return to www.microcenter.com." even using a US address to ship to and multiple credit cards/debit cards gives nothing.
