Please understand that this is an angry rant about the quality of the parts being used by EVGA. Since November of last year I have had one card right after the other fail. The latest card I have was shipped to me brand new from EVGA. But now, only a couple of months into lifetime the fan is starting to make odd noises. Vibration sounds, surging with a buzzing whiz. At first I thought it was just a loose cover or something on the case, but no. I was able to find it pretty quick. The card. I haven't taken the card out to see what is what yet. I am so disgusted at the moment with it that I first came here to drop an angry Forum Post. Sorry guys, but seriously! Even a new card has faulty parts now? This begs to question, who is your vender?
Edit-
Perhaps the vender got bad parts from thier supplier or something. The card is performing as advertised and I really like the card. The sudden onset of the fan noise took me by surprise and given how many times such an issue has come up, it simply took the breath out of me. I apologize to EVGA for the use of less than calm language. I wasn't mad at EVGA, but rather the parts being used in their products. EVGA has stood behind the warranty and been great to me as a customer. Thank you.
