How do you get 980ti sli setup thats running Nvidia surround to downclock to 135mhz
Both cards are running at 886mhz at idle and making a lot of heat noise and wasting electricity!!!

Check in the NVCPL to make sure "Prefer Max Performance" is not set in the Global settings.  If it is, set to "adaptive".

What is your refresh rate? I am guessing 144 hz? That will cause a high idle state.

#1 You're running multiple monitors. Fix: Enable mutil display power saver using nvidia inspector.

No problem. Adjust it to however you need it.
